We're back for the fourth installment of the Survivor game.Welcome one and all.

Aim

The aim of the game is to be the only player remaining andas such the sole survivor

Format

The format will follow the same format as the first two, successful, games. There will be 20 players, in 4 teams of 5. There will be a challenge each night, in which the teams have to work together to ensure victory. The winning team, decided by a tie-break if neccessary, will be safe from elimination. The other three have to send a player to "Redemption Island".

Redemption Island

This is a new introduction to the game. Redemption Island is a second chance saloon for players, to secure a final 4 slot. The players who are voted off compete against each other to survive. Only one can survive each night and progress to the following evening. The rest are eliminated and, thus out the game. When we are down to three players, the surviving player on Redemption Island will join them in the final. In a further twist, should any team be tied in their votes to eliminate players, the participant on Redemption Island will have to decide who to eliminate, so be careful who you backstab.

Captains and Automatic Qualifiers

There will be NO pre-assigned Captains and NO automatic qualifiers. This may prove an unpopular decision but i believe people who don't have to go through qualifiers become complacent and don't have the same hunger as Qualifiers and Wildcards.Therefore everyone will have to qualify to play in this game(unless 20 or lesspeople apply). You will be competing against everyone else for your place inthe game, not an individual head to head. The Qualifiers will run from 20:00 on Monday until 21:00 Tuesday. It does NOT require speedy internet, as you can enter at any time between opening and closing, but more details will be revealed on Monday.

Rules

The ONLY thing i am banning is Outside PM's. The only PM'sthat should exist are Team PM's and Captain's PM's. If it is found that outside PM's exist, the creator will be eliminated. You have been warned.

Essentially it's a last man standing game. This one will work in the following way:

Everyone who signs up, or wishes to play, competes in the Preliminary Round. This is a round where the speed of the internet doesnt matter. You'll have 25 hours to enter. It come's down to knowledge and a degree of luck, but without the knowledge you'd be goosed. You do, of course, have the resources of the internet to help. If you score in the top 20 then you are into the game proper.

There will then be 4 teams of 5 players. The teams will compete against each other to win tasks. The winning team are immune and all individual's will be safe. The three loser's will have to vote off a player. In previous games, this would have meant direct elimination but in this one you get a second chance(this will be fully explained and given an example of before the qualifiers begin to clarify).

As teams get small, some disband and eventually we will end up with 4 players for our Final. Whoever wins the final is the Survivor.

Luck and knowledge are probably the two most essential ingredients in the game. If I fail to make the top 20 with those as the points scorers, I'll accept I don't deserve to be in the game.
