DOUBLE LINED did the guy not notice the first set that were painted? Sorry that's a pish excuse to call any game off. Bit of an embarrassment for any eos side to do that,
to be fair tho maybe I've maybe jumped the gun here and is maybe more to the storey than just that, anybody from Tynie care to explain more?

Just been to pitch at fernieside!!!!! There were old lines on pitch and new lines are between 12 and 6 away from old lines, but funny thing is its only the 18 yard boxes and other few parts not the whole pitch, dot to dot would have been harder to get wrong never mind the old f@ckin lines to follow!! ================================================================== oh sh@t that doesn't line up, f@ck it al just do the other box the same anyway =============================================== .............

Bloody cold down Muirhoose way, the swans could walk across the pond, so unless it's gonna be a bright start early morn then Leith could be a goner.
Unless they've made arrangements to switch it to Ainslie Park?

Can't see anywhere the Peebles v craigroyston game being off. Let's hope both sets of players never went out last night!!

Can't see why tynie would want it off. Whitehill are the easiest three points on the coupon just now.

There's always one.... And never takes too long! Uts an easier passage for tynie than playing spartans with ineligible players.

Peebles v Craigroyston
Tynecastle v Whitehill

Peebles v Craigroyston is a farce or more exactly Peebles are! They called it off last night and wouldnt switch the fixture. Craigie then asked for a refs inspection this morning which it passed. Peebles then said they couldnt raise a team!

My understanding was the craigy manager wanted plenty notice for transport...so the park was checked fri nite which I was told was requested by craigroyston and so the park wasn't great.
Being a player I wish the game was on but there's no point going on about it now.

going back over a decade I can remember City were due to play a club away and the match was called off due to a "waterlogged" pitch. Someone forgot to tell one of the City fans who turned up at the ground, on a glorious Spring day, to see a lush verdant and perfectly playable pitch and a tiny puddle in one corner....

i know of an eos team who took buses to a cup final at that venue.
Then again that team isn't from Edinburgh but IS closer to Peebles but i can see your point

Craigie did not ask for a decision on friday night they asked for an answer on switching the match if the pitch failed an inspection at 9 on saturday morning . Nothing to do with transport.
