Scott Allan will be a Regular for the senior squad soon. He is absolutely brilliant, the lad just oozes class.

St.Mirren seemed to be pretty caught by the size of the crowd though both at the gate and at the catering kiosks, I went for a pie at around the half hour mark and got back to my seat to see the second half kicking off.
Really? What stand were you in? The West Stand kiosks had virtually no queue about 10 minutes before kick off.

We were in the North Stand.
The stewards had to find seats for some people well into the first half.
We did notice there was big gaps in the West.

Aye. His coming was foretold at United a good couple of years before he made his debut and only a serious injury and illness stopped him making his debut much earlier for us. Just a shame we didn't get to enjoy him for longer before fame and fortune came calling.

That west stand was dead near kickoff then full and then they carry on with seats as fans with tickets and paid at gate in same stand what a fiasco should sort that out before the next match against Luxembourg in September.

The crowd will be dramatically less for that game, I'd have thought though.
Even Gregory Tade doesn't know what he'll do next.

The reason why the ground was over 6,000 fans was 2 reasons 1. cheap price for under a tenner and 2. better money to use than f*****g pay to watch the first team on ppv that's a f*****g disgrace it should have been on the bbc

So guessing we need minimum 4 points from the 2 away games plus a home win against Luxembourg?
Even men with steel hearts love to see a dog on the pitch.

Went along last night and was actually an enjoyable 0-0!! Was very impressed with Mackay-Steven, looked like he has a bundle of pace and not afraid to have a run at the full back with is what we need. Russell done the same on the other side who also had a decent game. To be honest, i think we asked a bit too much from Rhodes as he was the lone striker and even with Wotherspoon sitting just behind him, didnt seem to get enough support for him. The dutch seemed to be rather slack with a few of their passes which i was not expecting but suppose that was a good thing. Scott Allan was tremendous when he came on, defo a real talent!

Just echoing the thoughts of many here I think. A decent enough 0-0, and didn't think we were really troubled. Their #9 (Barazite sp?) was supposed to be their big danger man, but he didn't get any change out of our centre halves - I thought their #10 looked decent though.
For us, I thought Russell was very good, as was Kelly - and obviously Allan. He looked head and shoulders above everybody else, and I include the Orange jerseys in that.
Did anyone else see what happened with Jack just before half time? He went down in a heap, and got some treatment on the touchline mere yards away from where we were sitting - he seemed to say that he'd been elbowed, and he was giving the Dutch guy pelters when he came back on.
