Saturday was indeed a strange one. Only time we looked in any danger was when the Hilton Rd linesman couldn't make a decision and the ref failed to penalise Berwick tackling and the Berwick guy auditioned for the Olympic diving team.

Don't think it was a penalty, but the 2 footed tackle on May just before their award was a stone waller and a red card, but if the ref doesn't blow for you, then you have to roll with the punches, something we are well used to at the Recs.

It was one of these days though, good passing, patient play but just lacked that cutting edge in the final quarter.

Berwick were pretty brutal, and did their job well, assisted by both the ref and Hilton Rd linesman.

So finally Alloa are beaten by a 13 man team.
