If/when Harry Redknapp gets the England job will Joe Jordan become his assistant? He's been his assistant at Portsmouth and Spurs so it would be a natural progression.
He wouldn't be the first after John Gorman of course but he's a Scottish legend. Would anyone have a problem with it or are we in an age where these things don't matter?

I genuinely wouldn't have an issue. Joe Jordan was a legend as a player. His playing career, however, has long since ended. It's his own prerogative to consider any job which is offered. I'm sure he''d have to think long and hard about it though as an appointment like this would see the little Scotlanders AND little Englanders united in hand-wringing fits of rage.

It would be a well paid cushy number for the guy, i wouldn't hold it against him for taking the job.
His handball got us to the 82 finals, he's immune from slagging in my eyes, I just hope to see him have another pop at Gattuso.

It's getting kind of hard to believe things are going to get better. I've been drowning too long to believe that the tide is going to turn. And I've been living too hard to believe things are going to get easier now. I'm still trying to shake off the pain from the lessons I've learned. And if I see Van Helsing, I swear to the lord I will slay him. AHA HA HA. He take you from me but I swear I won't let it be so. AHA HA HA. Blood, will run done his face, when he is decapitated AH! His head on my mantle is how I will let this world know...how much I love you.

Genuinely wouldn't have an issue with JJ going there.
I can't see him wanting to do it however.

I think Jordan would do it. And why not? If the new manager doesnt want Jordan to be part of his team then he wouldnt be stupid enough to turn a job down. Dont have a problem with it.
Hes a big cheat anyway and will be joining the right mob!!

78 finals. So it was all his fault really.
One of my all time Scotland heroes so it would be really weird seeing him barking instructions at players in an England trackie.
He was Northern Ireland assistant previously wasn't he?

He's a professional, he goes where the job is.
Fair enough, I'd do the same.

It would be the biggest coaching role of his life by a distance, he'd be mad not to take it if offered it, I know I would. You would have to be an absolute tit to be bothered by this.

Aye it would be a massive job for him but remember he played for us in an era when the Home International Championship was thriving and the Scotland v England rivalry was huge. He might feel a bit differently than the likes of John Gorman
