And does anyone know the first team to use these sort of pitches or the old artificial pitches in the junior game .
Side point were Stirling Albion first senior team in Scotland in the 80s to use artificial pitches ?
I know Luton town , QPR , and I think scarborough used them in England and they had a terrible reputation down there obviously nowadays your 3G and 4G are much better .

I am so clever that sometimes i don't understand a single word of what i am saying,Oh...... RobRoyGuy's Posts DO NOT Reflect the Views, Opinions or Policy of Kirkintilloch Rob Roy F.C

There was a posting http://www.pieandbov...etires-from-pb/ (14th January) with HJ resigning from P&B after nearly 23,000 postings in a 4 and a bit years. Worn out I presume and probably bored to death.
Is this an imposter we have in our midst?

Care to expand?.Every season we play Stirling Albion on the 4g at Forthbank, its fantastic. The ball runs smoothly, the bounce is truethere is no burns when you slide tackle. It encourages teams to keep the ball down and play football. How many Junior parks can you say that about.
