I've now got an HTC Evo 3D. Like I said I've never had a smart phone before.

My contacts thing has auto populated with some people on Facebook (I assume this because their profile pics are beside their names), now I dont want half of them having my number and I don't want to wind up accidently calling them or whatever.

Is there a way I can delete them one by one or is there a way I can wipe this whole contact list and add them manually (my old phone didnt even have Bluetooth to auto transfer them) with names and numbers from my old phone?

Also, my PAC code switchover is being activated tomorrow but I take it that if I put all the contacts in my phone now that they will still be there once this transfer happens?

EDIT - does this mean that somehow my contact details are going to auto appear on all these Facebook fuds who are on mine, if so how can I stop this?

Go to Settings> Accounts and turn off the facebook sync for contacts. You can then delete them from your contacts and add any others in.

Your contact details will only appear on other peoples phones if you've put your details onto facebook and choosen to share it. Its nothing to do with syncing onto your phone

Just got a new Sensation XE. Nifty phone with HD screen, dual-core processor and Beatsaudio stuff under the bonnet.

The audio is supposed to be incredible but I haven't tried it yet.

Cracking phone though.
Tell me who's that writin', John the Revelator
