I had that one too. Happy (vague) memories of skelping the skunks 5-1 in that. ^_^

This was my first ever Morton top though.

Villa were big up here in the early 80's due to their European success.

Of course I have great memories of the 1-5 game at Love Street, but when I think of that flourescent yellow away strip, I always remember a 2-1 win at Brockville earlier that season. Kevin Thomas ( ) scored the winner from a header into the goal in front of the Morton fans, in driving snow, and I recall him sliding on his knees in front of the fans. I was on football first the next day, jumping about like a maddie 8)

This one was my first, can't find a proper picture online. I was six and got the name of Danny Lennon on the back at the Sports Division at the, what was then, new retail park on the outskirts of Kirkcaldy.

If I had to pick a favourite top that we've worn in my time supporting the club, I'd probably go with our 01/02 effort. I had 'Novo 7' on the back of this one and at ten years of age I worshipped the ground that man walked on. Gets a bad rep but he's always been good to the Rovers. I loved that shirt.

Huge fan of our half and half style shirt we won the Second Division in too, I'd happily see us use this permanently.

Yea, i'd go for a return of the 2 hoops, and the half and half. Truly superior designs.
We are all Eric Drysdale.

My first Jags shirt was the Red/Yella stripes that wee Bertie Auld brought in. Made us look massive, Especially big Somner and Joe Craig. Mind you made Benny Rooney look like a sumo wrestler!!

I also have vague memories of that yellow Morton top, mostly thinking that Earnshaw c**t's a fucking player as witnessed here:

My first shirt: My link

The signed top below the main picture is my actual first strip. Gavin Duncan, ex-Thistle player and ex-employee at Firhill complex borrowed it from me to get the whole team to sign it after my PE class were playing Basketball at the complex.

My first County top was the lovely number on the left . I still wear the one to the right on those increasingly rare occasions when I play fives. I've a more recent away top but I got it on the cheap and it's too big for me

My first Falkirk top was the red away strip from the 97-98 season. Can't find a picture of it anywhere.

This was my first football top (nicely modelled by Super Ally). Still got it somewhere.

Ah, above I noted my first Thistle top, my first football top was this bad boy:

My parents probably got it from a charity shop or found it in a bin, as I doubt they've ever spent more than a fiver on an item of clothing for me. Wish I still had it, even though it was a kids size it would be nice to have it.

Was hoping this would be a thread about the first strip you ever bought. Mines was this monstrosity from 1991.

I was 9 years old so chances are it was a present off someone who didn't particularly like me.

Somewhere in the 'pubic triangle' just up from the Grassmarket whilst a student - probably 1980. My mates shouting at the 'dancer' 'show us your fanny' - she stops the music and says 'look ye w****r if you want to see a cnut go home and look in the mirror'.

My first ever strip - not of the Fifespud variety - was the one Scotland wore when they beat England at Wembley in 1977.

For some reason however, I never owned a Queens strip during my childhood - in fact I've only ever owned a couple since. The first one was pretty hideous - that white effort we had as our home top for a couple of seasons around 94-95ish.

Can't be arsed posting pictures.

My 1st strip I played in was this cheeky little number, as our Saturday morning boys team used it. Conversely, my primary school team played in t***erine shirt and black shorts. I never produced my prolific goal scoring abilities for the school team, strange!

First strip was the 82 Scotland world cup effort. Nasty.
We hope that you choke
