Thanks for the info CTZ. Wasn't sure if he was still there.

I noticed from the programme that we made a loss of £23K last year largely due to a fee of £35K to the grounds owners. Apparently we have no bank debt but does anyone know how the shortfall is being dealt with? We still have terrible gates so well done to those running the club in reducing our losses.

Good professional performance today , and well deserved 3 points. I thought Stirling played there best stuff after they scored, and finished the half looking ok. Our second half show was excellent. Armstrong and Mbu solid at the back and Adamson and Cowan as reliable as ever, Dont think I'd swap any defenders in the league for our back 4. Maybe Brett will come in on Tuesday? Don't know know how bad Cowan's injury was? Brett is a great replacement and was not out the team through playing poorly.
Was very impressed with Fisher. Wanted the ball all the time, quick and strong, and looks a great add to the squad.
Delighted for big Lewis, a second man of the match award in a row at home, and a perfect hat trick , left foot , right foot and header. Some were saying that's 10 goals now he's on.
A very impressive record considering how many times he has been a sub. Coult and Mckenzie have been the most improved players this season.
Looking forward to Tuesday, and hope we can notch up another 3 points before our trip to Gayfield on Sat!

Easy win plus a dew good performances, thought fisher was excellent, very mobile and rarely gave ball away so can't see CC getting straight back in if he keeps that form up,big al a would keep ur £50 just now as coults 1st was def an og defender made a rite arse of it and clearly kicked it in ha,as I said earlier bino's wer very poor, lyle looks short of match
fitness but looks like he mite be ok,cusak am
not sure abt but not done anything to impress
yet,if a was Stewart ad b asking CC why av went from starting 11 and scoring against hibs to 3rd choice sub last few games.

I take it from that comment you didnt go to the managers meeting earlier in the season? Colin said then that he always takes the players aside and tells them why they are on the bench or not playing at all, the reason for this is that he played under some managers who would drop him or leave him on the bench without a word or reason why and felt that it was unfair to do that to a player as he didnt like and he certainly wont do it to his players. So Greg has probably already been told the reason why he is on the bench and the 3rd choice sub. Hope this helps big Geo!:)

correct. was thinking the same, greg stewart must be wondering why he only gets last few mins as 3rd sub. hope he keeps good attitude and shows what he can do.
regarding cusack, his best position is striker im told, running the channels so maybe unfair to judge him yet as he hasnt played
there.
also think coults 1st maybe og, will wait to see the highlights

Shortfall covered, in the main, thanks to financial assistance from Neil Fentie & John Lints.

The financial results show how much work still needs to be done to turn the club into a sustainable business. Despite increased turnover thanks to 1st div football, significant investment from Neil Fentie in particular and c£25k from transfer fees, the club made a significant loss. The above masks reality to a large extent and losses would probably be in the same ballpark as the previous year otherwise.

The club is adjusting to life without stock car rental income and it is going to be a hard road ahead to keep its head above water (and a successful team on the park).

Defo the Flamingo's goal! His shot was heading for goal before the defender made made an arse of a clearance and deflected in off the post.

Easy win yesterday despite an unconvincing performance. A better team would have punished us in the 1st half...we will need to play much better next Saturday. Fisher looked promising.

Was aware that the fans are in control at Stirling but didn't realise that some are also playing (the waistline of 2 or 3 players were remarkable for professional footballers)!

Would also like to see Greg back in the team (not at the expense of Lewis tho).

Aye, SKY have a lot to answer for, but what can we do? This has been covered so many times you'd think being top of the second division would create some interest in the town. It's a shame the directors have to fork out to make up the shortfall. These guys are doing a great job for the club.
Hard to believe that Stirling gave Arbroath such a hard game recently but they really are going to struggle now. The next two games are HUGE.

Definitely Coult's goal. It was going in already. Playing Lyle wide left was an absolutely ridiculous decision when we had Linton on the bench!! Coult had a great game and you can't drop him now but Stewart is still my first choice striker.

All players have to spend time on the bench thoug so his attitude better be spot on.

We're lucky that we have two excellent strikers competing for the lone striker role. If one has to go off, the team isn't in any way weakened when the other comes on. We also have Cusack, whose best position, according to Clyde fans, is an in-your-face striker, and Derek Lyle, who has a great track record as a goalscorer. That may seem excessive, but when you're going for a championship trophy, injuries and suspensions in key positions can cost you.

We still have Brett and Robbo who can play RB. Toorie and Kenny can play CB then you have Linton and Bryne for LB.

We should be fine with TOB back in training soon.

Cowan on Twitter saying his hamstring is sore. Would imagine he'd be out for Tuesdays match anyway - don't want to risk anything especially with Arbroath coming up!

Why no Toorie or Deano on the bench yesterday. When Cowan got injured it took the management a good while to make the change.Never known a 5 man bench to have 4 forward players and a goalie.Stewart has to be on the pitch longer as well.

Decent 3 pts and 2nd half display on sat, Lewis as some folk have said had his best game and is keeping greg out the team - mckenzie is performing really well and for me is now just shading kenny for our poty - joe/cowan/robbo not far behind.

We did ok for ten mins in first half then fell out of it with stirling growing in confidence. Then 2nd half we upped the tempo and our pace hurt them(think fitness a huge factor as well) no doubt stirling arent the fittest team ave seen.

Only gripe with team selection would be Lyle left. Not shown enough for me in games to merit a start - he is a box striker tho surely? As for cusack he is a striker - cameron fancys him out wide so fair enough.
Missing cowan will be a huge loss - brett a fantastic replacement and even tho hardly any game time he is young and fit and will do ok. Only problem for dean is his height obv teams do play to that and I rem a lot of diagonal balls from the opposition when dean was playing.

Anyhow massive couple of games now and tomorrow nite is gonna be tough. Starting x1 the same i imagine - potentially a couple of changes on sat against errbroath.
