Never got their line up but their number 11 was a stand out. Turned out it was Keigan Parker.
Lot of young boys but there were a couple of older heads in there too, Martyn Campbell being one of them.

Watched Greenock v Forth game last night.....very disappointed in Greenock defence in second half....3. poor goals lost (4 poor goals overall for greenock to lose)...if they continue to defend like that they will rule themselves out of the promotion race...thought tam j was good in centre of midfield and he and cairns bossed the middle first half...conditions were horrible and was lucky to see some goals as they were at other end of pitch and the fog was pretty bad at times....

Cairns boss the middle of the park, your having a laugh. The three midfielder's that were subbed for the second half made the difference, one of which was Tam Jamieson.
2 -1 and cruising........3 grafters taken off from mid field, back line line left exposed. The attitude should be 11 defenders on the park and you defend from the front. No room for lazy midfielder's who pop up once every couple of games with a silky pass and think they are the bollocks. Thats why you have been getting those results of late.

Point taken Localman. Am sure the coaching team are entitiled to their opinion as well. Thats why they felt their starting 11 would have went on and won the game, so decided to shake things up a bit and give players a game that were coming back from injuries and suspensions.......
Is that not what friendlies are for ?
PS are you Cairns agent .....

Been a few threads about Cairns, Kearns or whatever the right spelling of his name is on here before.
I have seen him over the past 3 years at Greenock, although I only really take in home games. He is a decent wee player but don't think he is a central midfielder unless there's a 5 man midfield. Can play a pass when given time but doesn't have the physical side of his game to play in there, works hard but is a bit slight for the battle. I think better players have left Greenock in the past 3 or 4 years. Bradley who now plays for the high school is twice the player and left. Don't know the circumstances behind it, was disappointed to see him go.
Thought Mooney might have used T Jamieson in midfield more often than he has but is good enough at the back that I can't really complain.
Wouldn't judge us on friendlies, look at last weeks 3-1 win over largs compared to this weeks result. Teams get changed regularly, plenty of changes disrupt the teams etc. In a good position and am confident we can keep it going and get second promotion spot behind the shire.
