This game could kick start the Rob Roy season. If the win their remaining league games they might just end up top of the league.
The Talbot will be looking for the points as well, they are unpredictable in the league. They often don't get the credit their play deserves. Talent & drive in every position, the team also have tremendous fight & desire.
Got a feeling Rob Roy will win this game 2-1.

You know what larky , i really do like your posts and threads !!
In all seriousness though we won't win all our games or finish top of the league that's obvious . Big ask but hopefully kenny connolly can come in and do a job for us in the midfield. Hopefully gormley and coakley can cause the talbot defence problems to.
Our pitch is actually not the best the now so i can't see to much football being played , it's gonna be about application , desire , fight , and taking your chances. I would bite your hand off for a point now, but to get a league double over talbot would be very very pleasing

Larky, you are always very complementary about Talbot but I can't remember you taking them to win which is always a bit puzzling. Surley if any of these two are going to make a late surge it would be the Bot, remember the Talbot have won this league.

IG, every game that Talbot play they are short odds, & more often than not odds on. It's no fun picking them to win.
But I think with that wee rascal Butch not on the pitch, they are a lesser force. Rob Roy Have not performed as well as I thought this season. But the talent is there both on the pitch & off it.
Hope Talbot & Butch can sort things out because at the moment everyone's a loser, as things stand.

Great wee player and I for one will always be greatful for his contribution. But he has decided to go and we have seen this happen to Talbot many times and they always seem to get stronger. Good luck to Butch, Talbot will move on and I think it unlikely he'll be back.

Thanks KG I'll watch out for him. I had never heard of the lad Pope before I saw him against Medda at Beith in that cup final. But the fact he was keeping Liam out the side I thought he must be quite a player.
The Larky fans will love him in a couple of weeks.

Tucker and Alan have concentrated on youth, and Pope is only one of the new up and coming Talbot stars. Ally Park, Kyle Faulds and Gordon Pope are superb youngsters, and we even have a younger one Keiron Paterson who is a talented teenager who will become a regular in the near future. You have to hand it to the Talbot coaching staff. They know the expectations of our fans but they are bold enough to gamble on youth. Great for football and great for us.

All players have a shelf life. The only trouble is the player very seldom realises this.
If you wait until change is needed, you are too late. Talbot are being very smart in making changes at the correct time. Moving players on for money & investing it in younger lads.

Very few ayrshire teams come up to our park and play well , probably a combination of us having a decent side the last few years and the jaunt up to Kirky .
Auchinleck to kirky must be the longest distance between to teams in the league ?

Just had a wee look and since November 08. 3 and a bit years we have played Talbot 12 times if you include this Saturday game . 8 league games , 3 Scottish and 1 west .
Unfortunately for us we only have two wins and one draw out of those games .
Saturday would be a great time to improve that record !

Do you think the game will go ahead RRG?
I like the thinking behind your post, Tucker will be filling up just reading it,& I'm sure he will tell the boys to go easy on Saturday.
Is your St Anne's fan coming up? Haven't heard from him since he was meeting a burd at Christmas.
