*edited to add a statement from Whyte*

"These accusations, which are simply a variation on what the BBC already alleged in a documentary riddled with inaccuracies and falsehoods and broadcast last year, are defamatory and clearly form part of a concerted campaign by the BBC to embarrass Craig Whyte personally and to damage Rangers Football Club. This is clearly a witch-hunt by the BBC"

you'd think at some point he would either a) lay out the inacuracies to make the BBC look like idiots &/or b) robustly set his legal team against the BBC

There is a fecking surprise. Must have realised you can't get legal aid for defamation cases.

This is the sort of attitude that really might place Rangers in trouble if shared by a lot of the fanbase.

It should be you lot who want this guy lynched, not the rest of us. We can just pull up a chair and enjoy the show.

For you though, this character holds everything. A very, very charitable interpretation would see him as, at best, mysterious. Another one might see him as downright dodgy.

If enough Rangers fans really are prepared to defend, rather than question him, then who knows where he might take you.

Feel free to carry on though.
