Can't believe JG is getting stick after less than a handful of games. Jeezo, when did Ardrossan turn in to the Old Firm. John has improved every team he has been involved with and has always left them in a hugely better position than when he joined them. He was No. 1 at Dalry but time commitments meant he couldn't keep that going so brought DH on to take over as No1 whilst he stepped back voluntarily. They moved as a team to Glens and look at where they are now. John wanted to have a go at running his own team again - not because of any fallout reasons or anything like that - he left on best terms with everyone, go to the Glens website for proof of that . AWR don't realise yet how lucky they are. Just watch them go.

Think this is a good post as one of the things people were questioning was John's reason for stepping down at Dalry and this explains it. A new management team will need time to work together and also to get their particular philosophy across as well assess what they have inherited.

The good thing for Winton is that they are in a decent position at the half way stage of the season and although this season was all about staying in this, the most awkward of leagues, the new team still have time to put a run together if they want promotion.

Took a wee run past the San Siro today and all looks fine for tomorrow....park will be heavy as most will be at this time of the year.

Ive heard John stepped back from managing Dalry as he had to do alot of works behind the scenes and couldnt do both. He wont have that issue at Winton as this will all be taken care of leaving him to concentrate on football, which im sure him and his players will enjoy
