And one of the biggest arseholes. Decent player as well if he stuck to football instead of kid on hardman.

Only towards the end of the game as BU nerves started to kick in.

Who gives a monkeys who boness sign. They quite simply will not pose any threat to linlithgow this season. We have taken a squad who finished three points adrift and improved it all round. Boness have taken a league winning side and ripped it apart on the back of one mans whims. Top 5 at best for boness this year

BU's unbeaten vs the Rose. 2011/12

Stop your nonsense. Kelty were the better team and deserved something from the game.

Sauchie beat Downfield 2-1 in a game the ref ruined with some bizarre calls . Downfield scored 1st when Sauchie couldn't clear there lines from a corner . In 25 mins King got a straight red for a tackle that didn't even warrant a yellow . Morgan scored a penalty when a Downfield player handled in the box . the ref continued to make errors which mainly went against Sauchie but a few did go against Downfield to prove he wasn't biased . Morgan scored his 2nd finishing off a good move to beat the goalie on his near post . Sauchie were well on top and spurned several chances to put the game to bed . With a few mins to go the ref sent off Cummings showing him straight red for something said I think . A good 3 points and another game out the way .

The BU keeper made one great save in the first half when he dived and tipped it around his post at full stretch but apart from that Kelty didn't have many opportunities. Bo'ness on the other hand missed several chances to score a second. In the last ten minutes I was a bit nervy but in reality Kelty were second best today. Come on the BU's.

To be fair Bo'ness had an extra man advantage for an hour and hardly created any chances in the second half. Christie had two good saves first half and another couple of good saves second half.

Boness created absolutely nothing first half and their goal came from a defensive error.Having said that I've just read your post in the Bo'ness thread and that seems fair and balanced.

It was freezing and was a boring game. Broughty scored with one of their few chances made and their keeper pulled off 2 great saves to give them the 3 points. Our best chance came in the second half when we cracked the post. I don't remember much else.

The problem with Broxburn is poor finishing. JJ has hit poor form since Tatties and Shields left and no one has been brought in to lay the ball onto JJ and hit over 20 goals a season. A lot of the Broxburn players are great at taking 2 or 3 men on but the final ball or shot is lacking. There are also some passengers hiding in the team that don't roll their sleeves up enough and seem to go missing for 20 minutes at a time.Craig Young got unfair criticism today in my opinion as he was putting himself about and always looking for the ball (unlike others). He gave 110%. Nothing wrong at Broxburn that hard work on the pitch wouldn't solve.

Not the first time you've been on here moaning about Courts. Can't remember him doing anything against Bathgate that would cause you to be upset.

You must have been at a different Bo'ness kelty game than me m8, Bo'ness should have been 3 or 4 up in the second half, get ur tinted specs off, oh as well one of the worst challenges I've seen this season by ur so called junior internationalist centre half today!! Courts should have a serious look at himself, he will seriously injure someone, he's a pretend thug!!

I was there and thats definitely true. Ref made the correct decision to call it off but at the wrong time.

They are scheduled to be at home again next week. From most of the comments of people who have actually witnessed the park, seems like it is atrocious.
What does anyone think is the problem? After all the park has been rested for 4 years!

Nobody is saying that Bo'ness didn't have chances second half, or that they didn't deserve to win, what I was saying was that Bo'ness didn't use their man advantage to the full. The chances that Bo'ness had mainly came from set pieces (should have scored with a header right in front of goals from a corner) or from Kelty not clearing their lines on a number of occasions. As you say three or four chances but Kelty had probably the same amount of chances from far less possession. Christie had two saves second half, Kelty player could also have scored with a header and a couple of other chances as well.

You are correct BU did not make most of man advantage and lost all momentum when they made subs 2nd half, before then BU should have had the game sewn up but the Kelty keeper was fantastic, although Kelty enjoyed some 2nd half possession they didn't really pressure the BU keeper and the couple of saves you mention were very tame long range efforts.

Fair enough but how many saves did Fleming have to make? I can only think of a couple in the second half, there was one the first half as well where he made a save to his left but the linesman had already flagged for offside.

The problem is we've been given 5 home games in the league from the past 6 weeks and the 1 week off was a free week and a friendly was played at home aswell. That coupled with the atrocious weather (Heavy rain, snow, ice and wind) the park has been cut up quite badly and has had no time to repair itself. Committee members have been out with the pitchforks and rollers but it's made no difference after the warm up and 5 minutes of the game has gone. No chance the game against Maybole will be on next week unless it's moved to another location or up to Maybole

Shocking tackle, Courts had all the time to make a solid tackle standing up, then no foul and no sending off. He is a first class idiot.
I hope he apologised to Lee Duffy after the game as that could have been a career ending injury.
