What's the chances of this one going ahead?
Weather forecast not looking too good. Hope there's an early decision if it is going to be called off.

While it probably will be an early decision to call it off i'd rather it wasn't. Was frozen this morning and all signs of frost had gone by 11am.

Pitch has been frozen here all day with temperatures remaining around freezing. The pitch will be looked at early tomorrow, with any formal inspection likely to be around 10am. Peterhead have requested that the inspection is not too early, as they want to avoid a mid-week trip to Berwick if at all possible. The weather forecast for Saturday has temperatures are set to rise a little in the afternoon, possibly with rain or snow. Tough one to predict at the moment.

It's pretty remarkable, and credit to the milder winter and to Ross Aitchison, that we've not had 1 first-team home game called-off yet this season (and only 1/2 Reserves?), despite the pitch being used every week.

If there is still frost in the ground it has no chance. An expected high of 2c tomorrow will not be enough to take the frost out of the ground. Feel for the Peterhead fans after both clubs have taken the idiotic decision to delay an eventual decision until 10am.

Maybe this helps Ducket? I rang the club today and only if there is a chance in the morning will an inspectiion be delayed. Seems it will be brought forward if no chance and looking at forecast it looks like it will be off. Shame really. There is a bit on website too I read.
