Post all your thoughts on Ayr Utd's inevitable relegation back to Div 2 at the end of the season.

The added joy for me is that, even if they stay up, this thread can't really come back to bite me following events last Saturday.
Major Titles:
Kilmarnock - 5
Ayr United - 0
1 team in Ayrshire
-13

If Ayr finish higher than 9th, then I would be extremely surprised.

I don't want any of the teams to get relegated this year. But it looks like next year will certainly be rise of the diddies.

If we're sitting 10th on the 5th of May, then yes, we'll deserve relegation.

Don't worry, we've now got 6 strikers and I fully expect us to roar up the league on the way to the title playing a 4-0-6 formation. #ReidsRevolution

So is this Ayr's version of a "promotion bus"?

I see you lot have already painted your supporters bus for next season.

Don't you know anything? We (County) have loads of money, so instead of a supporters bus for next season, we've invested in a fleet of luxury cars to ferry us to games.

I want them to stay up and eventually be competitive enough to challenge for promotion. However, I wouldn't like to see their current manager rewarded for his negativity.

The ideal scenario is that Brian "Keegan" Reid gets sacked and they appoint a new manager who gets them playing some decent football and keeps them up.

In all seriousness though, I would rather bin Reid the now, rather than Reid being sacked if we go down. Would love for Marko to hang up his boots and take control as manager and have Jon Robertson be his assistant. 2 guys that know what the fans want and know how to motivate and get the players going.

ETA gave you a greeny, no many sensible posts from a Killie ;)

I though every team had their own boat?

Here is the Dundee boat.

Reid is away at the end of the season anyway, was told that he's apparently looking to emigrate down under.

I'd rather that Raith went down and dragged Livingston down with them, but facing the facts, Ayr needed to massively upgrade their squad to survive at this level, haven't done even remotely enough and I expect them to get relegated by the end of the season. Bit of a shame as it's a top away day.

I heard he wants to live in Australia but he's going to sit tight and hope the tectonic plates shift enough to give him the opportunity without him having to do anything.
We must remember that in time of war what is said on the enemy's side of the front is always propaganda and what is said on our side of the front is truth and righteousness, the cause of humanity and a crusade for peace.

I am not one of those who in expressing opinions confine themselves to facts.

I was going to ask why you are hanging about but to be fair, with comedy genius like that big chair, it's great to have your input in a really good thread.
