We all know who hold the moral high ground after that episode. Won't mean much to the Bankies' fans but will mean substantially less to some of the feckwits on the other side who see this as some kind of a trophy. Would love to see Clydebank represented in senior fitba again...
The score remains 4-1 and counting...

Probably best that you stop looking in the mirror, then.

Its unlikely that Rangers will actually go under. however if they did they would either form a new team and be accepted into the Sctotish Leagues (I actually think they'd be allowed straight back into the SPL, proabaly after SKY/ESPN throw a strop demanding Of games etc), or buy another team and move them to Ibrox. Likely a club with minimal assets ala East stirling.

Therefore the difference to our crowds would be pretty much f**k all.

The one thing thats pissing me off about the whole Rangers 'crisis' is that for years I've worked with Gloryhunting c***s and now they're up shit creek, the place I work now has Rangers fans that actually go to the games and are pretty balanced in their views. I mean I still rip into them but I feel a little guilty about taking the piss out of what are effectively 'real' fans. Posted Image

They may be "real" fans but the ugly sisters just don't get it - they don't understand what it means to follow a lower league team - they don't understand the passion, the excitement, the loyalty, the commitment that can be generated following a smaller club - "your" club even it plays most weeks in front of a small crowd. This is why they cannot understand that people who follow lower league clubs don't have a "big" club that they support as well - how arrogant and shortsighted they are and poorer for it.

Just because I support Dumbarton doesn't give me the divine right to assume I'm better than any OF fan.

To turn it round, to think that because you support a 'wee' team makes you better than anyone who supports a 'big' team is actually incredibly arrogant as well. Of course it's easier to support a big team due to the increased chance of success, but to boil it down to 'they don't understand it' is a bit daft as frankly I don't understand what its like to support a big team.

Apart from Scotland obviously, thats JUST like supporting Dumbarton except the disappointments on larger scale...;)

Given that Clydebank are represented in the League, being the 'United' in Airdrie United, it would be interesting to see what would happen if another Clydebank - or is it the same club - (?) applied for League membership.

Good Dipsy- you're the first outsider to make that point. The truth is Ballantyne handed back everything, name, badge, history, strips etc.
