I assume Bain must be injured to be missing from your team Unless he's has an injury to both legs, I'd have him in in place of Owens. Long John Silver would move faster and contribute more than Owens.

Refs do seem to postpone games at the slightest thing these days compared to years ago.

Iwould quite like to know about the refs payments. Do they still get paid all or a portion of their fees, if the game does not go ahead?

He had his wisdom tooth removed and wasn't allowed to play because of the stitching but will be back for the next match now that this is off.

Paul Sheerin on twitter.
"Game off after 11 o'clock inspection temperature up pitch softening 4 hours until kick off decision is baffling!!"

The same referee normally does the rescheduled game

Fans in being utterly clueless shocker. Sheerin's tweet is very amateurish.

Got to agree
11 was probably the latest they could have left the inspection

Yup. Either way refs get a bad rep but if everyone had arrived and the pitch was still solid all hell would brake loose. Unless the distance is circa 20 miles then they shouldn't leave it too late. It's too expensive for people and teams to travel and find out on arrival.
