At least you have the option of the terrace at Ochilview which you don't have at the Stirling or Dumbo. You also don't get any grief at all from stewards at Ochilview if you stand up the back which you get non stop at Dumbo and Stirling. It's certainly a more relaxed atmosphere at Ochilview than feeling like a second class citizen with eyes gazing at you for 90 minutes at Dumbo and Stirling.
The price thing was more directed at Airdrie in fairness.
I kind of thought this would upset the precious ones on here.
STENHOUSEMUIR IS A SHITE AWAY DAY AS WELL as I stated earlier.
Good league, Bad league ?

Not precious at all I just don't understand fans who endlessly complain. I don't think I 've ever felt like a second class citizen at a second division game but then I don't go with an attitude. AFWIW I enjoy going to Stenny. But then I enjoy going to most games otherwise I wouldn't go.
Doesn't have a point of view,
Knows not where he's going to,
Isn't he a bit like you and me ?

Yes, even allowing for our current miserable form, it's been a good season. The slaughter of Airdrie was awesome, but the best match I've seen in years was the 3-3 v Cowden - it had everything, played on a muddy low-league pitch by 26 guys giving their all. What better way to spend a Saturday?

It is good to see that most fans are enjoying the league campaign as much as myself. I feel that the 2nd has been refreshed by the addition of the 4 new teams in the shape of Arbroath, the two Albions and ourselves. The other leagues are more stagnant especially as the SPL only allows one up and one down. The play-offs has it's faults but this division above all other gains greatly from them :-)

Has anyone mentioned the competitive peculiarity of Division 2 compared with all other leagues. In theory, 40% of its members can turn over each season - what with automatic spots and the promotion and relegation playoffs. No other Scottish division comes close to this and with only 4 of the placings (5,6,7,
not facing any action, there's limited arithmetic scope for midtable mediocrity.
Strikes me as unusual for such a small/10team league to have so much churn or potential churn. But maybe it keeps things interesting. The fitba's OK.

Supporting Arbroath = the best of all possible worlds. Gayfield Park = stairway to heaven. The team and fans = the worst in the league, apart from all the others. Everything is rosy in our garden

In a league system that has play-offs that only apply to the bottom 3 of 4 leagues and where there's no relegation from the bottom league, it was always going to be the case that the only one of the 3 leagues which are affected by play-offs would be the league in the middle.
We will never forget you, Guido.
