Absolutely.

I can't remember Boyd being overrated for anything in his time in Scotland. Any praise he's been given as a goalscorer was absolutely merited (top goalscorer in SPL history, 7 in 18 for Scotland) - and any time people spoke about his team ethic, work ethic etc, he was roundly (and rightly) criticised.

If someone were to go out and buy him thinking he was going to be a workhorse who would cover every blade of grass ala Kenny Miller, then yes - he's been vastly overrated. However I don't think anyone who's ever purchased him will have done so for anything other than his goalscoring record. I'd suggest THAT'S why he's been getting good deals.

I don't think Aufc understands the term overrated, tbh - certainly not in the context of Kris Boyd anyway.
