Agree that it was a rash and unwise decision. He should have been backed this January and they could have had another look at things in the summer. Ken Bates is well known for this kind of thing though - fud.
However, Leeds are massive club and should be playing in the premiership. They've had a succession of bad, bad chairmen.

I'd agree with you that the ownership and
chairmanship of the club in the past has been questionable (to say the very least!), maybe even 'bad' as you say, but as the person who responded to your above comment said, no club who isn't in the Premiership 'should be'. If they should be, they would be there.
And I wouldn't say Leeds are any more 'massive' than a dozen other clubs who have dropped out of the Premiership in recent seasons. Having a large fan-base doesn't make a club 'massive'. Nor does a Champions League semi-final appearace almost a decade ago, when a great team was in place, with almost nothing to speak of since.
I don't debate that Leeds have a terrific
following in terms of numbers, but that alone (as that's all I can see that could possibly make the club 'massive' in anyone's eyes) doesn't give a club a right to be in a certain division, or have an expectation that obtaining a top-class manager should be achievable.
