Just looking through the fixtures on the west website this morning I see Maryhill have 2 easier games in the next 2 weeks against newmains and royal Albert but lesmahagow and Carluke play each other ext Saturday so points to be dropped there.
I see Maryhill winning the league comfortably now

Looks like it will be a close finish to the season , not sure about maryhill comfortably winning the league though it will be close all the way & btw I'm sure by now you have learned there are no easy games in the 2nd div lol , still lots of games to be played , I just hope Carluke finish in one of the promotion places at the end of the season .
Mon The Rovers!!!!!! :)

Maryhill and Forth to go up for me. I see lesmahagow and Johinstone dropping points. I think teams like Blantyre could take points from teams as they are very inconsistent but can beat the better teams.
So i think
1st Maryhill
2nd Forth
3rd Carluke
4th The Gow
5th Johnstone
6th Rochs
7th Blantyre
Any of those 7 can beat each other on any given day. I just think the hill have a bit more class than the rest. Johnstone are probably the next best team but the fixture backlog will screw them over. Could be wrong though.

Fancy Maryhill & Carluke in that order. Hopefully St Rochs and Blantyre can get in the mix, couple of ex-Field players involved David Gumley for the Candy and Darren O'Donnell for the Vics. Both should be playing in higher leagues imo.

Can't see The Forth finishing above The Gow. Carluke may benefit due to havng been playing throughout the winter but they have been suffering from their customary dip in form.. If the new drains at Craighead do the job then we have the team to end up well inside the top 3
Form is temporary - class is permanent.

Think Forth will go very close this season, they are the best footballing side in the division but lack a bit of pace at the back. Maryhill look strong defensively and look sharp up front and are rightly favourites for the title. Carluke have the points on the board but look a bit one dimensional. Not seen much of the Gow, but Forth beat them in the New Coins and Forth have improved since then. In all its gonna be an exciting run in, hopefully the Forth will grab one of the promotion places!

a think its still early to be sayin whos gonna win the league...we have been doing well up till now but you have to remember when these midweek games kick in....its gonna be hard tryin to get a full strength team together all the time..lots of ppl have work commitments and that so this will also have a big effect on the teams i think

i agree with this, too early too be saying who will win the league, maryhill are certainly in a great position, the thing that stands out for me is they havent lost many goals if they can keep that up they will be in with a great chance

Definately agree with stewsy14 on comments about the teams so far but as everyone knows it is now time to see who has the bottle as lots of teams will need to use squad over next couple of months to see who has the better pool if players not just first 11. Lots if games to go. Hill strong all over park only concern would be centre mid as can't see much cover. Carluke good side but lack creativity apart from sub that came on but he looks long way short of full fitness. Forth on a good run and as usual hard to break down not sure on playing style recently but at start of season just played very direct with long ball but been herring lots of good things recently looking forward to seeing return match at lochburn. Think amount of games will kill of burgh but will need to see what next month or two brings to see if anyone breaks away! Any additions to squads at all?

From what I have seen this season, I reckon Forth or Carluke will win the league but I have still to see Lesmahagow and maryhill. St Rochs are also a big physical team. Will be interesting to see who holds out when the midweek games start.
