Inter look like selling Sully Muntari (to AC Milan) and Thiago Motta (to PSG).

Muntari isn't very good, so I don't know why Milan are signing him, but Motta is going to be a massive blow for Inter. I can see them slipping up again.

Caldwell is actually a great centre half however consistency can be an issue for him, technically his distribution of the ball for a defender is as good as Pique or Puyol.

Done deal. Few people suggesting Pienaar could be going the other way.

Ridiculous transfer for both teams if it materialises, a striker that can't score and an ageing playmaker who's lost his pace and hasn't played regular football since he left Everton.

The only proper reason i can imagine is both players taking reduced wages, to make this viable for either team....

Lambert is saying none of players are going anywhere but SSN have reported this several times now. There is no way Norwich would give him away also wages would be a problem. Maybe its more posturing from Craig Whyte making it look like he is trying to get in decent players before settling for Sandaza at midnight.

"Settling for Sandaza"? You can't afford him. He's already told you lot to f**k off. Posted Image

Rangers will get less than £1m from Jelavic's move. Who can they bring in as a decent replacement for that amount?

I was frankly amazed the bid was rejected.
6 million for a Championship club is pretty big and he is good, but worth more than 6 million? I wouldn't have thought so.

Arsenal's Japanese midfielder Ryo Miyaichi has joined Bolton on loan until the end of the season. The 19-year-old had a successful spell with Feyenoord last season, and returned to make two League Cup appearances for the Gunners

Tunisian striker Issam Jemaa has joined Brest on loan from Ligue 1 rivals Auxerre, the Brittany-based club confirmed on today. The 28-year-old arrived at Auxerre last summer, having scored 20 goals in 116 matches for Lens, but has made just four league starts for Laurent Fournier's relegation-threatened side this season.

Lorient have signed Wesley Lautoa from Sedan on a four-and-a-half-year deal.

The 24-year-old, who was born in Epernay but represents New Caledonia at international level, can play in defence or midfield and vowed to fight for a place in the first team.

Benfica's versatile Portuguese midfielder Ruben Amorim will spend the next 18 months on loan at Braga, the capital-based club said today.

Spanish midfielder Victor Sanchez has signed a three-and-a-half year contract with Espanyol on Tuesday's January transfer deadline day, the club announced. "Victor Sanchez Mata, the midfielder from Neuchatel, this morning became Espanyol's third recruit," the Catalan outfit confirmed.

Poland international Ariel Borysiuk today signed for German top-flight club Kaiserslautern, his current side Legia Warsaw has said. The transfer deal with the Bundesliga club comes after raging speculation about the 21-year-old defensive midfielder's future.

AC Milan have signed teenage Austrian striker Philipp Prosenik from Chelsea, the Italian club confirmed today. The 18-year-old has joined the Rossoneri on a permanent transfer for an undisclosed fee.

We've a far better chance of getting promoted with Rhys than without him though and promotion is worth a good deal more than £6 million. Delighted it's been turned down.
