Anyone know if it is possible to get more than 500mA out of a USB port. I need to tidy up some kit i have built and want to combine it into 1 usb hub. However 1 of the devices is using 500mA, the other 100mA, and my port will only allow 500mA. If this cant be done does anyone know if i can connect my usb hub to 2 usb ports via some sort of wire?
Cheers
