Going back to West Ham
Leigh Griffiths: "I've got faith in my ability and big Gary's as well, and as soon as he gave me the through-ball there was only one place it was going and that was the back of the net."

James McPake: "We'll fight for one another and we'll die for one another on that park and I think that showed today,"

Source?

Guy is a good player, but a total bellend that causes nothing but trouble at every club he's played for.

Yeah strong rumours on twitter apparently
Leigh Griffiths: "I've got faith in my ability and big Gary's as well, and as soon as he gave me the through-ball there was only one place it was going and that was the back of the net."

The Guardian is reporting Liverpool took off the klan robes for long enough to contact Man City to ask about a swap deal for Andy Carroll.

There is absolutely no way that Man City would ever give up one of their corner flags for Andy Carroll.

Agreed, whilst I can see they are desperate to get rid of Tevez I doubt they'd be that desperate to get Andy Carroll in return. A return to Newcastle for Ba is more likely (but still unlikely).

Well according to Sky Sports, Manchester City have failed in a swap deal that would involved Tevez and Carroll.

I read on The Guardian website that it was the other way round, Liverpool failed. Either way I can't even begin to describe how wrong this deal would be for both clubs.

I don't know, Tevez could do a job for Liverpool, I think. Why City would want Carroll, I have no idea whatsoever.

Could do a job certainly, but he won't.

Liverpool: <Ring> <Ring><Ring><Ring> “Hi, is Gary Cook there?”

Man City: “Er..he doesn’t work here anymore…who’s calling?”

L: “Shit..this is going to be a lot harder than we thought”.

MC: “Sorry…what did you say?”

L: “Er, nothing, never mind. I’m calling from Liverpool football club, you know; You’ll Never Walk Alone, the Kop and all that stuff from the 70s when we were good. And we understand that you are trying to sell Carlos Tevez? We’re really interested as we’re a little short up there with our star forward being found guilty of being racist and all”.

MC: “Erm, okay. Yes, that’s right, we want at least £25million but as you’re another club who are in our division we will want considerably more”.

L: “Cause we’re competitors for the league, right?”

MC: “Ha…er, no.”

L: “So we’ve got £35million, and that is what we’d like to offer you.”

MC: “That certainly is something we would be happy to talk about, would it be split over the season or in one sum?”

L: “Oh, it would be one big, huge, wasteful lump sum”.

MC: “Good, we’d much prefer to have the sum paid upfront.”

L: “Yeah, exactly, you want the big lump upfront, right?”

MC: “Exactly”.

L: “So when do you want to talk to Andy Carroll? I’m sure he’ll be easy to convince to join, there’s lots of strippers and bars in Manchester and it’s easier for him to get back to Newcastle”.

MC: “Sorry? Why the hell would we want to talk to Carroll, you’ll want to talk to Carlos no?”

L: “Yeah, we’ll need to talk to Carlos, but we’re offering £35million Andy Carroll for him?”

<Dinnnnngggggg>

L:“Hello? Is anyone there?”

<Line goes dead>

I heard that the above is a recording of the attempted transfer

One day alice came to a fork in the road and saw a Cheshire cat in a tree. Which road do I take? she asked. Where do you want to go? was his response. I don't know, Alice answered. Then, said the cat, it doesn't matter. - Lewis Carroll

I reckon he would be a good signing for anybody now seeing as he knows that he must be on his best behavior or the media will pounce on it.

Who gives a monkeys who boness sign. They quite simply will not pose any threat to linlithgow this season. We have taken a squad who finished three points adrift and improved it all round. Boness have taken a league winning side and ripped it apart on the back of one mans whims. Top 5 at best for boness this year

He should, whether or not he does is another matter.
