Bet he dont lose everything like a bankrupt should by the letter of the law. His houses will probably be in other peoples names along with any other item of value.
Due to a disasterous house buy just before the property market crashed and a redundancy I ended up bankrupt. I was told that I could not even own a car if it was worth more than 3 grand! Wonder if he will be treated the same as me, I was even asked if I had any relatives who could be chased for any of my debts. Will they go after his wife for the money? very much doubt it. At the end of next month I will be moving to my sixth house in 3 years but people like him will just sit tight and laugh at the banks.
