Big game for both teams. Good home win for Elgin last week after a gubbing away the week before from QP. Stranrar were also hammered last week.
Last time we played at Stranrar we played them off the park and lost 1-0, whats the thoughts on tomorrow?
I'm hoping for a draw at least, however our away record is shite (only won 1 away game at Phead this season!).

Should be a good contest but a really difficult one to call following last weekend results .

I would make Stranraer slight favourites and Elgin's back line will have their work cut out to stop Stranraer from getting at least a couple of goals.

Having said that if Elgin can keep it tight they might just sneak a draw and even an away win wouldn't surprise me one little bit but if I was a betting man I would put my cash on Stranraer.

Sounds like it will be a veeery bad pitch for today.. What team do you think it will favour?
Elgin did win last weekend yes, but Miller is doubtfull I heard - an attacker that could be good to use in a match like this...

Anyway - Stranraer ofc favourites, but a draw would not surprise me either.

To Elgin fans@
How is Mark Durnan doing?
Ok repelacement for Kaczan or way below?

Cheers

Passed 7am pitch inspection. Stranraer has its own wee micro climate.!!! Freezing up here near Glesga. Hard Frost.

At least there is not much wind today. Should make for a better game. Last week was a farce. Not just the result but the quality of fitba was ruined by the gale.

Stranraer have apparently just signed Scott Taggart on loan till the end of the season from Hibs. He was playing brilliantly at right back and then we lost him around christmas back to hibs. our defence had started to leak goals while he was away.

Tight game 2-1 stranraer or 3-1.

Not sure about Stranrar but cracking 3 points for Stranraer - good to see Michael getting a chance to start again as he continues to try and bag 100 goals for the club, and good to see Scott Taggart back from Hibs. Particularly important result given those slips by Annan and Queen's Park - just a shame Montrose couldn't hold on!
