Will the pleckie pitch beat the advances of Mr J. Frost? We could do with this match going ahead...
The score remains 4-1 and counting...

Still pretty frosty outside, but hopefully that goes away. No word of a pitch inspection on the website, so imagine it's going ahead, don't take my word for it though.

Dire first half.
Referee was garbage - worst ref I've seen this season.
Second half was better, good goal by Stenny - Fifers claimed he was offside but I thought the Number 4 played him on.
Three saves by Stenny, one by EF.
Hope the bloke taken to hospital is OK.

from a stenny point of view a welcome 3 points ,

i also thought rodgers was offside but a nice finish ,

murray has a discolated shoulder ,
and paton went off at half time felling un well ,

with macmillen complaining of head-aces ,

the injury list just keeps on piling up .

motm lawson at left back done well in his first game in the first team and will soon be in the squad,

Looked a dull one for Muzza could well be out a while. Corrigan out for the season and the McMillan situtation doesn't sound too clever with it being to do with his head but I also heard today he will be back next week. I'm glad it's sickness for Pato and not a physical injury he should be fine for next week hopefully.

We played with a midfielder and a left back today at central defence and even then McKinlay had three broken fingers! They really battled well though the two centre backs credit to them for that.

Really needed that win today we were in a rut and although a draw would probably have been a fairer result I will take that all day long. Hislop is fucking woeful by the way Dazzler caused us no end of bother when he came on had he started the score could well have been different.

The goal looked well onside to me nice wee dink from Bomber and another banging volley for A-Rod against the Fifers!

A wee bit dissapointed to lose. Thought we were slightly the better side in the first half with Div Muir missing an absolute sitter. Second half was failry even with most of our chances coming from set pieces. Rodgers took his chance very well, again, and Stenny put in a good defensive performance to limit our chances of getting back into the game.

Injuries, suspensions etc forced our hand a bit in the line-up against Albion Rovers and by all accounts we didn't play too well and were a little lucky to come away with a 2-0 win. I'd have preferred us to stick as closely with the team from the Arbroth and Rovers game as possible.

Hopefully Ryan Wallace is fit for Brechin next week. We miss him and he makea a good partnership with Hislop.

We were lucky to get the points today but some you win, some you lose (like our last home game against Forfar). Team deserves credit given the patchwork nature of it at the start and then throughout the 2nd half with injuries to Paton and Murray.

Lawson did ok but he found Linn difficult to handle. But certainly a good debut.

Huge three points. Defeat could have been cataclysmic for our season.

McMillan said he would be back next week. Concussion.

We should have had at least a share of the points but it's goals that count and the Warriors took one of their two chances while we failed to take ours. Credit due to the Stenhousemuir keeper who had a fine game.
Disagree about Hislop, he was the better of our two front men and had the measure of his opponent. McQuade looked livelier than midweek while still looking less than match sharp.
Looking at the bigger picture I can see Cowdenbeath and Arbroath (with money to spend) continuing to pull away from the rest with Brechin, Stenhousemuir, ourselves and possibly Dumbarton competing for the remaining play off spots...
The score remains 4-1 and counting...

Very dissapointed to come away empty handed as i thought we did enough to earn at least a point.Stennie goal looked offside, when the ball was played rogers looked half a yard offside.Wouldnot have expected the ref to make the right call as he was having a shocker.Has to be the worst ref ive seen this season and that is saying something. The most dissapointing thing from an east fife point of view was stennie were there for the taking as they were no great shakes.Injuries and suspension forced our hand but every team will get their share during the season.Ryan wallaces pace and movement a big loss yesterday.Playing on plastic the game seems much slower and a non contact sport .Any time we put in half a challenge the incompetent ref gave stennie cheap foul after cheap foul. Both teams were well matched and sometimes in football you dont get what you deserve and yesterday was one of those days.

Confirms what I thought at the time the defender is clearly playing on Rodgers when the ball is played.

So in your opinion the goal looked offside and the referee was the worst ref you have seen this season. So having watched the goal what do you think now?

As I said after the game it was well onside.

It wasn't even up for debate.

Thought it was onside myself at the time but after that camera work I'm even less uncertain. Why no commentary from the dudes on the stilted platform? Used to love their ramblings...
