I'll be making sure my big toe is ready again for this one.

Think it finished 8-3 or 8-4 to the Bankies the last time!

we were drinking before the game and when i went off i was drinking a can of magners in the away dug out. cracking laugh that day. everyone is welcome down holm park that day including rrg. u might even get the chance 2 wear the bankies strip u once promised :P like fans of the juniors said bar open from 12 to 7 food will be put on for the teams after the game if we get enough numbers (fans) ill ask our committee guy 2 stick in a few pies if people want. once the bar shuts we can just take the short journey along 2 the boundary bar and carry on the session as most people will be off easter monday.

the idea of this not appealing to other clubs baffles me big time.. its a great day and brings folk together for a laugh.. also gets rid of the idea we are all scum......... were all the same !! guys who wanna see a game of football and enjoy what we got....

Spot on ginge. Just hope we can look after the Kilbirnie boys at our place as well as they looked after us down there. The score didnt give a true reflection on the game to be fair. Our superior fitness shone through at the end :D and with a centre midfield pairing of dav and cod meant youse were knackered by the time you ran round them 8)

Dav

Meant to txt u back BTW - i am available for selection

Dear god ! think you would catch a few 'players' either being sick in the middle of the park , or collapsing in a heap through exhaustion. Could be quiet entertaining actually ;)

Get Mr Cook to referee it

Indeed it could be. Another idea for a fundraiser is pay a quid, and try to hit RRG flush on the arse from 12 yards as he "takes one for the team"by standing on the goal line. It just so happens that the team in question is every other team in Junior Fitba

Barry Cock couldnt keep up with our pace 8)

For a town of East Kilbride's size it is depressing that the locals aren't showing more support for their side :( I know the club has tried various measures in the past to get them attending games too. I remember how many of them turned up for the promotion-clincher which saw them beat us 3-0 to get into the Super Leagues.

And RRG, perhaps you should ref this supporters' match - you're used to several people shouting abuse at you after all so it's your natural role to officiate.

Yes your spot on there that was a great day for the club but we lost a whole squad last season.jimmy n tony have done a great job the team is full of young lads and a few experienced heads like ryan kelly, bain and paul allum whos on loan from yous cracking player whos been unlucky with injury. We are sitting mid table which is good so another 15 points or so and we are safe .use have had some great results recently :)

Allum is a great player, but sadly his work commitments means he can't participate in mid-week training - he's from the East Kilbride area too so it's easier for him to be able to play on Saturdays. He's often the player to assist for goals, and despite only scoring 12 for us he's easily set up double that minimum during his time here. He was close to his 150th appearance for the Bankies, and I'm sorry to hear he's experiencing injury issues.

I was just reading the thread about the game against the Bankies fans, I'd be up for it if yous needed extra numbers, I know another boy that would probably play as well
