West Ham bid £7.2million,£6million right away, and another £1.2million if they get promoted.
Craig Whyte said No,and he wont be a cut price buy for anyone.

But think the hammers will be back.:)

I agree with McCoist if we are going to sell him we need to do it sooner rather than later. I wouldn't hold out too long on this one but judging by Criag Whyte's track record we will probably end up haggling all the way to the 31st. Hopefully the Hammers come back in with £8 or £9m and we can sell him and get a decent replacement.

Not a bad offer for Jelavic, I would really consider this. If rangers keep snubbing a move for him, you could end up with a very petulant, disinterested striker on your hands.
Beggars can't be choosers.

By West Ham have denied a bit, do you mean Rangers have denied a bid being made?

No matter how much he goes for,how much of the money will be available to bring in a new striker.

Rangers have revealed that they have not received any bids for star striker Nikica Jelavic.
But manager Ally McCoist has confirmed that Gers chairman Craig Whyte and West Ham chairman David Sullivan have held casual talks.

Details of this "supposed" bid are allegedly

5 and a bit up front with add ons if he does good.

Now considering what Ranger payed in the first place and how much has been spent on wages of the past couple of years Rangers will make very little from any supposed deal.

What the f**k are you talking about, the refs down here are continuosly making mistakes, penalties or otherwise. Also the one club who have gained more penalties in Scotland more than any other is your own,17 last season more than any other in Britain.

That's why Rangers wont sell for any less then £7.5----£8m.

Unlike Celtic who would be driving Hooper down the M1 as we speak.

Lets face it every club down south know the dodgers are the tramps of scottish football, they wont be daft and knowing Whyte is as desperate as a 50 year old virgin they will wait till the very last minute and offer £3 or 4 million knowing Whyte will take due to the massive bill they will be owing the taxman. Think that Celik guy is his replacement though i did laugh when they asked Sandaza to sign a pre-contract for £5 grand a week Posted Image

Anyway jellyfish is pretty average pulling above his weight in the SPL. Posted Image

The master plan is starting to take shape at Rangers. CW has being playing a game of poker making Rangers hand look a lot weaker than it was.

Look at what happend since the tax case has finished.

1.Phil betts the tax expert Rangers hired leaves the club, a sign that Rangers are quietly confident we've won the case.

2.Rangers open up a new office in London to attract future invesment.

3.Rangers reveal it was the Murray group who paid for the lawyers in the tax case not the club.

4.David Murray turns up out of the blue at Murray park 1 week after the case is finished.

5.Rangers turn down £7.2m bid.

6.Rangers beat a fair few clubs in bigger leagues to sign Mervin.

Alternatively...

1) The tax case is over, Craig Whyte has said he won't appeal even if they lose, so Betts is no longer needed anyway.

2) Rangers open up an office in London to seek out investment for the New Co that will replace them if the case is lost, and to seek investment to cover the £10m black hole that Craig Whyte has already admitted exists in the books, even if the case is won.

3) It was stated in the takeover documents that Murray was paying the people who were defending the club in the tax appeal.

4) And that means what exactly?

5) Rangers need the £7.2m up front to help cover the pre mentioned black hole. They are desperately hoping West Ham crack and actually pay it. If not, he could be leaving on a free should the club lose the tax case and fold.

6) Celik signed for Rangers knowing if the worst comes to the worst, he has a shop window for England and a free transfer if Rangers disappear.

Sorry boyo! You lost all credibility on here when you vehemently backed up No.8 on his now legend of fuddery thread "The Celtic Vew"

Are you still seeing imaginary links with South Armagh roadsigns?

7 million odd seems like a good deal for Rangers....the player no longer looks interested going by the last few games I have seen him in...
could be a blunder not taking the dosh.....time will tell.Posted Image

Your even more gullible than I gave you credit for.

Rangers release a press statement and papers pick it up. That's it! It's how it happens ya dolt. It doesn't mean it's true. Your club has history of spinning falsehoods in the media countless times.
