Well after our poorest result of the season we have a great chance to bounce back, 2 very winnable home games coming up. Hopefully everyone is fit and we can get the job done.

Is it true Gemmell is suspended?

Gemmell and Stevenson both suspended.

We need to try to bounce back from Saturdays loss with a decent win here. Gemmels suspension is a real bonus for us and Albion have had a bit of a slump recently.

Our home league record is excellent and Arbroath have a tricky fixture so every reason to be optimistic.

Going for 3-0 to Cowden.

Will be interesting to see how Marriott and McStay (surely?) pair up in central midfield. Also, I hope we don't employ the straight swap Gilmartin for Gemmell up-front, maybe Love could lead the line and we can seek to repeat the silky floor soccer we saw in the 3-3 game.
The horror, the horror!

Looking forward to saturday's match. Cowden have got ignore the problems the Rovers have for the game. Injuries and suspensions can sometimes have an effect , and players coming in have something to prove. I have no idea who will play for us on Sat? Will the manager be fit? Or Adamson? Does greg come back in , and is Ramsay ok? I'm hoping Stewart and coultsy play up front together and we take the game to Albion. Hopefully Cowdencolt comes on and lets us know what the latest is !!

Hopefully this month's banana skin has been bypassed and another home victory is in the offing, before reading that Gemmel was suspended I was picturing him bagging a goal or two at his former hunting ground, so the balance is in our favour then!

Cameron out for a few weeks according to the local paper. We didn't do too well against Stenny and Brechin when he didn't play. Some have been saying he should be rested so we will soon find out what difference this will make.
Would have been interesting to see Big John playing against our defenders but will him missing really weaken Albion?

I am also looking forward to this game on Saturday.

I think we should get back to winning ways on Saturday. ( no disrespect to Albion Rovers )

I will go for a 2 - 0 home win for Cowdenbeath.

If Cameron is out with TOB still out an interesting team selection for Saturday.Big Geo,s 442 now looks a good shout but if we stay in our normal formation Toorie is probably the obvious replacement.I think Cowan in Mickey,s position is a shout, good on the ball and a great defender.Deano at right back so we still have loads of pace.Looking forward to reading everyone elses calls on the team.

Could not agree more as long as Brett isn't rusty.

CC is out for 2/3 weeks but he hopes to add a new face before Saturday. Any ideas who the player is? Must be a centre midfielder, we were after a Shire player at one point.

I know Cowden are really going for it but I'm surprised we are after another player. Think you are correct about a midfielder, definitely what we need.

Well with CC out it mite be a blessing in disguise as his forms not been to great anyway,a hear Ramsay shud be fine for weekend so interesting with formation and team sat,use all know how I feel but the shout about Cowan to holding role and Brett in is a good one if he sticks to same formation, but av got ma fingers crossed we start 442 wi coults/Stewart and take the game to them, but overall am pretty confident of a home win.

We have signed a loan player from Kilmarnock. I dont know what position he plays unfortunately.

According to the jungle drums on Facebook the player is Gary Fisher from Killie. Says on his profile that he's a defender, not a midfielder though, so hopefully he can play there if he's covering for CC. Good write up here for him : http://bit.ly/ylrDFt

maintaining decent form when faced with injuries or suspensions is a big factor in winning titles. lets hope we can show the excellent level we were at with the 1st choice 11 when we make changes.
dont know any facts but think our disciplinary record is excellent.
every game is a big game now.

I imagine the loan signing will come in for Cameron. If Kenny is back then Scotty may be pushed further up field with Cusack dropping to the bench.

I think Big Geo will get his wish of both Coults and Stewart starting.CC though, will not adopt a straight 4-4-2 formation.New lad from Killie to replace the manager [big loss, geo] always want CC to start games.Maybe a couple of more changes, as some have been struggling with knocks etc,so ive heard.Lyle may come in [not impressed so far].Anyway, i am a bit worried tomorrow, without CC in the team, but we have a good squad this season and have been great. To be below freezing tonight, so fingers crossed, we get an early thaw in the morning.

I share your concerns, let's hope the new lad fits in well, CC's contribution should not be underestimated.
Been frosty all day in Aberdeen, what's it like in Cowdenbeath?
