Gallagher is still out in defence and Brown is only a maybe. I would like see us mix things up a bit in midfield but it will probably the usual Hay, Scullion, Sweeney, Neill. Up front we should start with McDonald & Brannan but Duffy seems to be favouring anyone over McDonald these days well apart from Archdeacon who will be taking up his usual place on the bench.
Our record against Berwick at Broadwood the last 2 seasons is abysmal, we beat them mid-week last season but other than that have lost to them in the Scottish Cup, Challenge Cup on pens and 3 times in the league including 4-1 twice.

So... let me get this straight. You want to fly on a magic carpet to see the king of the potato people and you're telling me your completely sane?

If we do win on Saturday it will have to be 1-0 as more than one goal is far to much to ask , and to keep a clean sheet is another big ask . A couple of pokes from outside the box would be nice SOMETHING , ANYTHING

Can't see past an away win at all.
Berwick best at 6/4 with Bet365 and the 4-1 scoreline lookin tidy at 66/1 wae Paddy Power.
Score notes on it.

We're without a win in 7, the week before Clyde beat us 2-0 to start that streak being how long since we've won, so i'm not exactly going into this one full of confidence. That said, we'll be looking to bounce back and we do have a very good record there. I hope to f**k there's some changes with the likes of Walker and D. Gray dropped, and that Deland is moved into a more attacking role. Yano will be forced to make at least one change with McDonald suspended so i'm guessing Greenhill will get a start.

I'd have been tempted to put Notman into midfield alongside Currie, but if Elliott Smith is still out that'd mean Walker at RB, and I do not think he's good enough. If Ross Gray is fit, then I think he'll start, and Deland might stay at LB (where he did well v Edinburgh City and Stranraer)... otherwise Deland up into LM, and bring Thomson in at LB.

Tough one to call.
As said above, Berwick aren't in the greatest of form themselves so I think 1-4 is a little far fetched. That said, we really have problems up front and I know I'm stating the obvious here, but if you cant score, you can't win matches. We really need to start getting results and hopefully we get 3 points off a side who aren't that much better than us.
I'll go for an optimistic 1-0 Clyde win.

Plenty of options for Yano though none are really ideal. Could go back to the 3-5-2 with Deland at right wing back and Thommo left wing back, assuming McLeod is finally back.

0-2 to the dream team. Thommo screamer from halfway.

I'd punt for 442/424 with thommo back at left back, Notman right back, Deland and Gray on the wings with Greenhill and currie in the middle

I'm of a similar mind, depending on player fitness, except I'd prefer to go
Notman - Townsley - McLean - Deland
across the back 4 with
McLaren - Greenhill - Currie - R.Gray
across the midfield, or potentially 3 central midfielders for more cover thus 4-5-1 <> 4-3-3- formation.
Anyone know the fitness situation with McLeod and Ross Gray? And has Darren Smith defintely been released?

Gribben and Gray up top I assume? Not a fan personally. Again I think Deland is too weak defensively, and more to the point by playing him LB we lose a lot of the threat he can offer. I'd stick him LM, go with Gray on the other wing and stick Gribben and McLaren up top.
No idea on the fitness, but Darren Smith has definitely left the club.

Think this is the only Clyde match thread on P&B that isn't mostly posts from Clyde fans!

Just watched the highlights of the 4-0 defeat at Montrose on the SFL website
and can now see why the Clyde fans are feeling less than confident of a win against anyone in the division these days.
I tipped Clyde in their last 2 or 3 matches so Bully Wee fans will probably be relieved to know I'm tipping Berwick this weekend.
Clyde 0 Berwick 1

Never thought i would say it but im choosing not to attend Saturday's match. We look shocking at the minute and cant see past a Berwick win
Wont score and will concede a few.
Clyde 0-3 Berwick.

I am swivering myself whether to go on Saturday or not, if the weather is anything like it has been the last 3 home games i think i will give it a miss. I am not going to freeze my balls off to go and watch the garbage that is being served up, we can hardly string 3 passes together and we can hardly muster a shot at goal in 90 mins, watching SSN and checking my coupon feels more appealing.

Don't give up yet guys. Good times are coming. Corners, Shots on goal and everything.
Seriously though, fans deserting the team now is the last thing we need. all that will be left are the moany b*****ds and boo boys.

Since we lost 4-1 to Berwick, the league matches we've conceded more than 1 goal in either had us playing Scullion at centre half (QP, Montrose) or down to 10 men (QP). I don't think we'll get gubbed; as usual, first goal wins probably.

Im just at the stage that i want to go but cant face watching the same old shite anymore.
Cant stand those folk who shout for Duffy to go. I don't believe for a second that anyone could do much better.

Mclaren and gribben need to start together, best attacking play I've seen (although limited I admit) has come with them at the forefront

Let's face it, we exceeded everyone's expectations with the start we made to the season so our recent form hasn't really come as a surprise to me. We are still better than we were last season, and I still have faith in Duffy to turn it around as the players have shown they can compete against the top teams in this league. Once we get the likes of Gallagher and Brown back I'm confident we can start picking up results.
Last Saturday was the lowest crowd I've ever seen at Broadwood - 450 or something like that. The last thing we need at this stage is to abandon the team because they're shite, as we all know doing that in the past hasn't worked.

If Sweeney Hay and Scullion all start we won't score. There's simply not enough creativity there, not to mention Neill being off the boil for weeks.
Start someone like Fitzpatrick or Kane in midfield, or even Fulton despite him having a shit debut. Someone who can create chances and run at the opposition.

Bore draw I reckon. No form to speak of for us coming into this so I wouldn't be too down Clyde fans. If anything we normally let teams score twice before we start playing
