Watched Leithen Rovers v Arniston in south cup on Saturday and was very impressed by Leithen Rovers, especially there midfield! The two wide men we're confident going forward and caused the Arniston defence problems also good to see wingers pushing forward and working hard to track back, notice particularly in the little winger! Although they were reduced to 10 men early doors they still looked the far more organised team led well by there captain, with the big lad in the middle of the park pulling the strings for them, although he didn't look the quickest he read the game well and his passing made up for the lack of pace! In poor conditions they dug in deep and got the deserved victory! Didn't recognise any of the middle players and only face that I recognised was the captain, possibly smith? Would like to wish them all the best for the rest of season and will hopefully get a chance to watch them on a decent surface and see If they can produce the potential that's there for them!
