Andy Williamson's been absolutely superb for us this season, tremendous work-rate.

There are only two kinds of people who are really fascinating - people who know absolutely everything, and people who know absolutely nothing.

Stephen Swift in the form of his life at Pollok. Is it ok if he's a right back?
Did that Andy Williamson sing Moon River?

I did mean Paterson, and did get confused with Williamson - apologies to Andy (Paterson) for mixing it up!

Steven Noble. Normally very quiietly effective with a great touch and good engine to get up and down. We'll gloss over his straight red against Talbot on Saturday. Very much out of character.

Gary Wilson has been superb for us this season although he has blotted his copybook by being sent off in the last 2 games.

We've been luck to have some outstanding left backs over the years like Craig Brittain, Steve Tennant and Rab McLaughlin, as well as Jock McNeill before he moved to sweeper.

Andy Essler is amazing, but plays more as a left winger now.

Robert Halliday has been by far one of Ashfield's best signings in recent times. Great energy and pace. Has popped up with a couple of goals this season too.
