A comfortable win today, and I expected more from Stirling. For a change, we seemed to be first to every ball, particularly in the first half. A cracking goal from Boyle and a nice head flick from Lovers to give us a deserved lead at half time. Either we sat back a bit or Stirling had a rollicking at half time, but whatever happened it was a different story for the first fifteen minuted or so at the start of the second half. Stirling began to put some nice passing movements together and we looked anything but confortable. The Willie McLaren tap in for the third goal seemed to take the wind out of Stirling's sails. Before that. Jimmy Boyle had taken Stevenson off and replaced him with Owens. Surely Jamie must have been carrying an injury, as he was the man who was making us tick in the first half. Another fairly simple finish from substitute Scott Sally and the game was over, but not before we had our normal defensive lapse which saw 2 Stirling players totally unmarked inside our box and they had their consolation goal. Our new keeper had a shaky start where he flapped at a few crosses, but he seemed to settle into the game and looked brave and confident. However, it could well be a different story when faced with much taller and stronger opponents than today. Still, he can't be any worse than what we've had to put up with so far this season. Our trialist, presumably the villian from last week, had a good game. I had seen him play in thje game against Hibs and he seemed pretty slow, however today he was much faster and looked strong. I feel he would add to our defence, but it's a pity his first action if he signed would be to warm the bench due to suspension. A very welcome 3 points, but I expect a much tougher game next week.

Theres not much of that I could disagree with, although obviously I haven't seen other performances, so i can't comment on that aspect of your statement.

Stirling and albion rovers will go down from what ive saw worst teams in the league. Stirlings defence has got to be the slowest... The boy darren smith came on and made a bit of a difference but one man cant pull a team along.

Well Donnelly has done a good job pulling us along.
A good performance to banish defeats of last two, now need to start winning consistantly because there are teams that have more than two games in hand over us. Not out of the woods by any means yet.

NEARLY every goal donnelly has scored this season we have been beaten with the odd exception. So thats that theory oot the window
Mclaren,Stevenson and Boyle have all been chipping with the goals so an unfair statement to make kerr.

'The airdrie number 2? had the ref in his back pocket the whole game,'
The Stirling number 3 certainly had room in his back pocket for the ref, 2 assistants and a few ball boys. Probably the biggest ar*e I'ver seen this season, and I mean that literally.
