Lugar Boswell Thistle have appointed Keith Stewart as the new manager of the club.
The committee of the club held extensive meetings over the weekend and discussed the candidates for the position.
Following these discussions it was decided to offer Keith Stewart the position.
We met with Keith tonight and outlined our hopes and ambitions, he in turn put forward his plans for the future of Lugar Boswell Thistle.
We believe Keith is the man for the job and are confident that he will build on the foundations left by Billy McKie.
Keith will meet up with the playing staff on Wednesday night at training and will then take up his position in the dugout for saturday's home match against Kilwinning Rangers.

The Lugar players will want to impress their new manager so our team will have to be at their best and Lugar did only lose 3-1 at AP earlier in the season
But best of luck to him albeit after Saturday.

Saw Keith at Lugar training tonight when we were training and assumed he'd got the job.
Good appointment from the Lugar committee and I'm sure he'll do as good a job there as he did at Muirkirk.
