I hope they get a draw at home against one of the teams that carry a good support . Be nice to see them get a wee bit of financial reward and also give them a wee chance to go further.

Of course the players deserve huge credit but couldn't have done it without the hard work and dedication of Davie Greig and Joe McColl. Two big characters junior through and through. Well done St Rochs, here's hoping you can take it even further.

Should have defo been St.Roch's big story in the times today as it was a great result for a small club who are in the fifth round for the first in 39 years.

St Rochs progression depends very much on who they get in the next round. They have shown they are well capable of beating teams above them but I still believe an Auchinleck or Irvine Meadow would tear them to shreds. However, congratulations to them and I hope they either get a draw which gives them a fighting chance of making the quarter finals or makes them a big wad of cash!

We haven't played you guys in a few years, and it'd be nice to make your aquaintance again, Also, a few guys down my local pub are old time Candymen, and it'd be nice to take them to the game. Whatever happens, good luck to your club for the foreseeable future.

Got to echo every comment here. The Roch were my local junior team and it was an honour to play for them with the skipper at that time being a certain Mr Stevie Rankin(Ashfield boss). I watch for their results every week and wish Davie and the lads all the very best for the next round. Who knows.......a wee pay day and a good battling performance could show up another surprising result.............Oh the romance of the cup.

Well done the candy.

I think a St Rochs v Ashfield derby match would be a cracking tie for the last 16.

I can only hope that we (Beith) draw the candy in the last 16 of the WoS either at Bellsdale or Provanmill Park. It would be a good wee tie for me but my allegiances would have to lie with.....................ach, let's just wait for the draw.

As for the Scottish.......i really do hope they get a good draw and a game v Ashfield would be a cracker of a tie but a draw against the likes of Talbot or Me££a would hopefully generate a bit of cash.

All the best to St Rochs and the other unfancied underdogs in the next round. :D

I am intrigued by the nickname " The Candymen" as my favourite EPL side are Everton " The Toffees"

How did it come about?

You have to be born a Vics supporter, anyone can follow that other mob!

Well done to St Rochs.

Stories like this are the best argument against those who want to seed the Scottish.

The all in draw is best even if it does mean some big teams going out early doors.
