f**k sake, I stop reading this thread for one day and miss a textbook Paulo Sergio 8 post a page breakdown. Gutted.

Your team got pumped. The OF are given a helping hand as usual, although I don't think they really needed one that particular night.

are you not just fanning the flames?

Is it not okay to be proud to be British, their culture and their army ( i say their as I am Scottish). the brave British spirit of the wars as the people defended democracy against fascism.

Is it not okay to be proud of Irish heritage and remind everyone that in your war with Britain that you were country breaking free from an empire which imposed terror on the people.

st mirren fans recently booed when celtic fans were singing the Irish National Anthem, does that not make you racist? As far as i was aware modern Ireland isn't in the axis of evil.

how about rather than looking to be offended or looking to start riots why don't you try to understand people instead

I didn't want to go in for the bigoted tit-for-tat 'history' tripe you and your like come out with (and I wont post on this again) , but I feel I must defend myself and fellow Saints fans here...

Firstly, I and my wife are of Irish extraction, but we are proud to be Scottish and do not feel the need to act like plastic paddys.

As you well know, you lot sing The Soldiers Song to noise up the Rangers fans watching/listening (same for them with God Save the Queen). Saints fans booed because of the obligatory "God Bless the Pope" lyric that seems to be in bigot Celtic fans version of the Irish national anthem. So they were not being 'racist' as you call it - in fact - Irish is not a Race!! Capiche?

As for your last paragraph.... you are having a laugh... surely... Understand?

Did you actually read that article or just the headline?

It's about men with Gaelic surnames in the western-most province of Connaught as opposed to the Irish population in general, never mind the diaspora. If you were to find similar results up on the moors of Cornwall you wouldn't extrapolate findings about England from them.

If you're really interested in this kind of science then I suggest reading "The Orgins of the British" by Stephen Oppenheimer ISBN: 1845294823, but it's pretty tough going.

But getting back to the game.

How much of a w****r do you have to be to get yourself booked for diving when your team is 3-0 up and cruising.

It's not right to do it at 1-0 down in the dying minutes but at least then you can see why players would be tempted?

Yeah, that really confused me at the time. It was a shocking dive, too. Posted Image

More shite trolling, 1/10.

Are you trying to tell me Celtic don't hate Hearts as much as Rangers?

You've clearly not been to a game between the two before, then, especially at Tynecastle, if you think that's the case.

And yes, I hate Celtic and your other vile half far more than Hibs thank you very much.

I feel bad for even responding to such a crap wind up, but surely the most obvious thing making Hearts0Celtic4 look daft here is that he's claiming not to care about Hearts despite having chosen to name himself after a win against us in a not-particularly-significant league match on a Wednesday evening in February (having joined - albeit probably not for the first time - in the immediate aftermath of said match).

It also shows that he's probably about 12, as it's not so long ago that a win by that margin at Tynecastle really wasn't that much for Celtic fans to be getting excited about.
Don't quit. Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion.

The Laws of the Game state a player who commits an offence which denies an obvious goal-scoring opportunity, should be sent off.

Unintentional handball is not an offence.

edit: At least, I assume it isn't. No one gets punished for it anyway.

Not if they play for Celtic
