Way to have your finger firmly on the pulse there, kev.

Still way too early to see who's going down, Largs have games in hand but who knows if they can turn those into points. Firstly though they have the Scottish to worry about, while Bankies will try to get payback for a sore home defeat to Arthurlie earlier in the season.
Clydebank Till I Die
My posts do not reflect the views or opinions of Clydebank FC - I am just a Clydebank FC supporter, despite my 'role' as cameraman. If you get upset with what I post, be upset at ME, and not Clydebank FC.

What a fool you are making of yourself ken67 other udontknowme or whoever else you sign on as. You are a complete laughing stock. Still waiting for you to say what games you have been at this year. Oh yes you can't remember. And for the record pats win rate must be around the 60 percent mark since taking over which ain't too bad for a guy with no knowledge or experience as you state.

For goodness sake give Pat a chance in the job. A couple of seasons ago him & Sandy took Largs into the top league, got them to the Emirates Cup final where they just came up short against a very good Lithgae side. And the final of the WOS.
I think Pat is being judged with this particular season in mind.
For me a successful junior season is to stay comfortably in the Super Prem, & a decent jaunt in the cups.
All the best Pat, good luck for the rest of the season.

Far too early to say who will be relegated/in playoffs this year

I would agree, its looking odds on Kilbirnie will be in last place, but playoffs could involve, Cumnock, Pollok, Largs, Clydebank, Largs, id be surprised if KRR became involved, bearing in mind the amount of teams below them, but wont rule it out until a few more points are won

Arthurlie are also down there, but i expect will pull clear in the next few weeks

if I was a betting man, I would say Kilbirnie in 12th, Largs in 11th, but just a guess at the moment

The only thing you'll do by guessing who's for the chop at this stage is piss people off to be honest. As was shown by Saturday's result ( ours that is ) ... anything can happen. i wouldn't be surprised if we took something from Dunterlie at the weekend ... a win would take us 5 points clear of the Lie and catch either Ashfield or Rob Roy ... ... but we could just as easily get beat. It's a very competetive league this year and anyone can beat anyone else almost.

Serious question to RobRoyGuy (and I'm not trolling by asking this, honestly!), are you and other RR fans not concerned that your team could possibly be sucked into a potential relegation battle after all the money being spent on your squad? After the start you guys had, it appeared you had a chance at challenging for the title but that has gone now and a couple of defeats could see you guys struggle along with us.

The plight of Pollok and Rob Roy just goes to show money isn't everything in junior football. Funnily enough, now that Pollok have virtually no money to spend and the gaffer is having to bring in players who PLAY FOR THE LOVE OF THE GAME, I think we will begin to pick up points!

Fair enough point we have spent a lot of money to totally rebuild the squad , and it was always going to be a up and down season for us . Two or three wins from 8 games will see us safe so i am not to concerned , yet !

well thankfully with u having nothing to do with Largs either as a fan or a comittee member or more importantly as chairman u have absolutely no say in whether Pat stays or goes - u r entitled to ur opinion but dont think anyone at Barrfields really cares what u think

the regular posters on here who post about Largs r long time supporters & i can assure we have had managers who r a helluva lot worse than Pat - the year after we lifted the scottish cup there was even a section of the crowd calling for John Crawfords head after he had lifted the 2nd division league title & the scottish - fans r fickle & opinionated but as ur arnt a fan of Largs or havnt seen them often enough how can u possibly make an educated opinion

on another thread u stated that we should be wiping the floor with teams like St.Ants - all sounds good on paper but football aint played on paper - so by ur reckoning that should mean the Pollok manager should go after gettin beat by lower league oposition in WOS by Glenafton & the Glenafton manager should get the sack last week after getting put out scottish by the Buffs??

get a life & find a new topic to post about there is only so many times u can say "Pat chop" as real fans we dont care we still go to watch Largs no matter who is in charge or who is playing same as fans of other teams who are maybe struggling thats what real supporters do they back their team through thick n thin & no matter what division we r in - if we go down so what we can always come back if we stay up then good to us that is a successful season -

we are not one of the big clubs we dont expect to have silverware every season we get to a final its a bonus - we stay in the premier its a bonus so as i say get over it we dont care we will still be standing in the pishing rain shouting on Largs

Sorry for the delay in replying to your post, but I'm just catching up tonight.

I agree it's still too early to say. Everybody in the league this year seems well capable of beating everybody else! Even Kilbirnie have started to show a bit of dig in their last couple of games. They might shock a few fancied teams before the end of the season.

Arthurlie, though, who you fancy to 'pull clear in the next few weeks', apart from a good win away to Talbot at the end of 2011, have gone on to lose their last two league games by 3-0 to both Peasie and Beith. Still in the Scottish as well, I wouldn't think they're safe by any means. This week's match against Clydebank could be defining.
They have got a couple of games in hand, as have several other teams, but it's the old story - not everybody can win their games in hand.
I think it will go right to the wire.

Pressed, probably Peasie will win the league.
Meadow I know have 6 games in hand, but as credible contenders, you would expect better than 1-0 scorelines in the Scottish against lower Central League teams like Carluke Rovers and Dunipace. Of course, they may be saving themselves for the latter stages. But its a big ask, 13 points from a possible 18 just to draw level.
Relegation and Play-off place. At the moment, any three of Kilbirnie, Cumnock, Largs, Arthurlie and Pollok. So far this month, only Kilbirnie have managed to pick up a point.
But then again, after another three matches, the whole situation could have changed.
...frightening, and lightening fast was he .....
you never saw, a man outdraw,
The man from Adamslie!
