If we do come a way with a win, and I'm sure we will, I think it'll make a big statement despite QOS being pretty shite. A win will prove we are back to our best but anything less means the last few weeks have been a fluke as these games are must wins!

With McKenna , C Reid and Smith available , I would take us to beat you definitely , without them , I don`t.

If your missing key players, we are all expecting a Morton victory but tbh, even if use had your full team, I would still be confident in 3 points.

McKenna apart that's actually complete nonsense. McKenna picked up his 7th booking of the season on Saturday. He's the epitome of a midfield hatchet man I suppose. Most clubs have one of some sort.

Simmons, who didn't play on Saturday, has five league bookings too.

Otherwise our disciplinary record is pretty decent, no-one else has more than three yellow cards all season, though granted Kevin Smith who also didn't play on Saturday has two straight red cards, one of which was in the cup.

Craig Reid has been sent off at Livi twice this season (the first for swearing at the ref rather than any foul). He has however not been booked in any other game all season, his two yellows on Saturday being the only ones he has seen. McGuffie was booked on Saturday. It was his third booking of the season. It was Allan Johnston's second booking all season, his first was last week.

In our previous two meetings this season, apart from Reid's red for swearing, we had three bookings in total over the two games.

At last a ray of hope - Simmons could pick up booking number six.

I really don't see how he is fishing, they are all big players for us. McKenna especially who has been the best player on the park the last two games vs Morton.

Logic suggests a Morton win, but this is Morton we're talking about. I'll be a lot more optimistic if we're 4 up at half time.

From what I've seen of Queens this season they don't have a lot of pace at the back. If Tidser and Bachirou can get the through balls to Archie and Peaso, their pace (especially Archie who looks even faster than David Weatherston) could do some damage. I hope we play on the deck where we're at our best and don't get drawn into a hoof it up the park contest.

I can see this being a comfortable 1-1 draw for Morton. Easy point.

We really , really need to get some new faces in before Saturday to give us some hope. Very short term deals will do , anything better than nothing . Remember that after Saturday , Ayr will have three games in hand over us so we desperately need to take something out of this .

Will be a good test to see how we have developed as a team since the last time we played them at Palmerston. Queens are a physical team who don't tend to play the best football and twice this year they have ran over the top of us. And it's always fun to see the next team Scott McLaughlin is relegating.

To be fair to us, the match at Palmerston was started by an unfit Michael Tidser who by then knew he was due under the knife. He broke down altogether on what was a pretty heavy pitch (do I recall monsoon rain which cleared up just before 3.00pm?) and had to be subbed by an also half fit Fred Bachirou. Add a couple of goalkeeping howlers and it was a disaster on the day!

At Cappielow both Fred and Tidser were missing and we had a non existant midfield out who were bullied by McKenna although we still managed a draw.

This time we have a fully fit Tidserou plus given we have had a week off, one or two others carrying knocks like Evans have had the chance for them to clear.

I think we should win this and Campbells pace up front has had the beating of every defence we have played recently. Given Tidser and MacDonald playing the right balls to him and we should do well.
I plan on living forever! So far, so good!

Was talking to Evans on Facebook and says he had recovered from the injury that kept him out at Raith however he has picked up another knock. Says he is hopeful of being fit put dosen't look good. Posted Image

We may have the upper hand in the spelling stakes, but I fear Morton will do their talking on the pitch!

Yes Palmy , they probably will. Morton will get a great boost because of McKenna's absence . They are absolutely terrified of him

Well we wouldn't want any more three month absences for our proper midfielders at the hands of your hatchetman, would we? As he's suspended for this one, and you'll be in the seaside leagues next season, his opportunity to 'prove' how much we miss him is running out. He might get a space on our bench but I'm unconvinced.

Where would he fit into our team? Tidser and Bachirou are far better players now and have great potential for the future. And with the money we saved by not signing McKenna, we got Peter MacDonald instead.

Safe to say we're getting the best from that arrangement, given both sides' respective positions.
