There are quotes from Salmond. Also it is not a case of him promoting some random business. So it's certainly worthy of discussion, at least.

Anyone with any knowledge of Scottish journalism will tell you how infamous the Daily F**ktard is for making stuff up, but unless it's for something particularly contentious their victims may as well not bother sueing - it's their word against theirs.

They were caught out a few years back when they interviewed "a local street philosopher in Shettleston" about the Scottish Parliament and how it was a huge waste of time and money. Unfortunately for them he was swiftly unmasked as Charlie Gall, one of their own reporters (later famous for his reporting of the Arlene Fraser case).

Another time they interviewed one Lisa La Fountaine, a French student supposedly studying at Glasgow University who hoped Scotland was going to get to the World Cup Finals in "her home country" - she was also swiftly unmasked as Lisa McGuigan, a sometime model for the F**ktard and the runner-up of the Miss Scotland contest they'd been running the previous year.

You may as well trade up and buy Viz than that load of bumwipe. And who's for dancing on Joan Burnie's grave the day that evil old cow is sent down to Valhalla?

Exactly. The idea of Salmond and Foulkes talking to one another - even if they are both Hearts supporters - is ludicrous: they despise the sight of each other, and as for Salmond wanting the club to be run by a bunch with an even more dubious history of dirty dealings than Romanov, heard it!

I'm sure if the Sunday Mail have made up a letter from Salmond he'll not be too slow in letting us know about it.
