tbh our league challenge is more or less humped, so yet another win at medda park and the bragging rights is our aim.

El Classico of junior football in the west. Talbot had the upper hand last season. Meadow will be desperate to win this one, after the dissapointing display in the Ardagh cup final earlier in the season.
Meadow need McGeown,&Fleming to perform at there best to get anything.
Only a nutter would make a prediction on this match. I'm going for Kevin McDonald to head home a late winner for Medda in a 5 goal thriller.

As long as we learn our lesson from last season and don't play into Talbot's hands we should do ok,so no aimless high punts up the park, try and keep it on the wings, use the subs early if need be and finally don't get drawn into a slugging match! Sorted shouldn't be too hard eh?

Really looking forward to this game. If we can keep the ball on the deck I'm sure we'll do well. With big Mick Hughes still injured hopefully we'll stay away from the long ball we seem to resort to against Talbot.
I'm going for a 2-1 win to Medda with Fleming and Strain on the score sheet for us.

2-1 medda???
Let's face facts when did medda last beat the mighty Talbot?
Medda park will be silenced again next week and wee strain will be getting all hot and bothered.

This is the one I've been waiting on for a wee while, looking forward to meeting up with some of my pals from Irvine,we seem to have the sign over the Meadow in recent times,I don't think Strain knows how to begin to set his eam up to match Talbot, and Talbot players always seem to want it that bit more. Should be a cracker and I'll take Talbot to win it with a goal in each half.

Is the Medda pitch still a quagmire or has that been sorted out since December?

Talbot will win this one IMO, recent seasons they've just had Meadow's number head-to-head.

Well, no. Only last season really.
Hope we win obviously. Talbot's fans don't deserve such a great team..
