No, we're out. The game should be played next Saturday, hopefully it will be. But no doubt there will be some reason why it can't be.

More than likely. If it can be played next Saturday then it's a case of no harm done, but I've no doubt the SFL/one of our clubs will demand otherwise.

Midweek in March, anyone?

*insert rage here*
Looked at sky through smoke and God was not there. The cold, suffocating dark goes on forever, and we are alone. Live our lives, lacking anything better to do. Devise reason later. Born from oblivion, bear children, hell bound as ourselves, go into oblivion. There is nothing else. Existence is random. Has no pattern, save what we imagine after staring at it for too long. No meaning, save what we choose to impose. This rudderless world is not shaped by vague metaphysical forces. It is not God who kills the children. Not fate that butchers them or destiny that feeds them to the dogs. It's us. Only us.

Cant help but thinking if we held on to lunchtime we could have got this game on today. 5 minutes from ground and the frost is out the ground. Don't know if the shaded areas on the main stand side would be the problem though

Well because of shift swaps I'm off next Saturday...hopefully both clubs can agree that next week will be justifiable. However not so sure about the views of the SFL!

The SFL will be more than happy to sanction a Saturday rearrangement if both clubs are happy too. No idea why people think they might not be. In the same situation last season we rearranged to play Dundee at Palmerston on the cup date without a problem.

There is a full 2nd. and 3rd. Division card next week, therefore I see no impedence to a 1st. Division tie on the same day.

Apparently it looks like this will be a midweek. Laughably stupid and ridiculous if true.
Long ball (often colloquially referred to as 'hoofball') is the term used in association football to describe an attempt, often speculative, to distribute the ball a long distance down the field via a cross, without the intention to pass it to the feet of the receiving player.

It is a technique that can be especially effective for a team with either fast or tall strikers. The long ball technique is also a through pass from distance in an effort to get the ball by the defensive line and create a foot race between striker and defender.[1] While often derided as either boring or primitive,[2] it can prove effective where players or weather conditions suit this style; in particular, it is an effective counter-attacking style of play in which some defenders can be caught off-guard.
