We've actually got three games to rearrange as we're at home to Dundee on the weekend of the Challenge Cup final. We could have tried to do that this week too, with both of us out of the cup.

True, but that game isn't "due" yet and there's no compulsion under the rules to get it played particularly early. Given we've clearly got no massive fixture pile up to deal with this year I'd be surprised if that one is played much earlier than April.

Stupid not to try for this Saturday but a midweek game shouldn't be the end of the world. If trains from Stirling are kind I'll maybe even jaunt through.

I was under the impression games cannot get rearranged in the months of January and Feb

I quoted the rule above. Games are rearranged from midweek following the second saturday in February. Even before that they can be rearranged if both clubs want to.

What the f**k.
Long ball (often colloquially referred to as 'hoofball') is the term used in association football to describe an attempt, often speculative, to distribute the ball a long distance down the field via a cross, without the intention to pass it to the feet of the receiving player.

It is a technique that can be especially effective for a team with either fast or tall strikers. The long ball technique is also a through pass from distance in an effort to get the ball by the defensive line and create a foot race between striker and defender.[1] While often derided as either boring or primitive,[2] it can prove effective where players or weather conditions suit this style; in particular, it is an effective counter-attacking style of play in which some defenders can be caught off-guard.

It really is incredible.

I might go, though. I'll be through at uni but trains to and from Stirling look reasonable. Now to persuade someone I know from uni that spending £30 to go to Hamilton on a Tuesday night is a good idea.

BUMP.

We need to ream the Accies to stand any chance of Ayr gaining ground, hopefully Partick can help in this matter.

Sadly I fear that on todays performance, we'll be getting our arses handed to us.

No going, Ive got about 12p in the bank and a couple of quid in the house till Thursday, tbh though even if I had money to go I think I would struggle to go after Saturday. We could really, really do with a win.

We really need to win this one otherwise we could be dragged into a relegation battle. Hopefully we can make the most of our chances in this game.

2-0 to the Accies.

I really should go to at least one away game this season, but it probably won't be this one.

Hopefully we can get that elusive victory.

For reasons I'm not quite sure of I'm leaning towards making this my first away game since Montrose in July. Midweek, off the back of a 4-0 doing, when we're looking a bit short of players. I must need my head looked at.

Any of the Stirling based posse heading down?

Lets just say I had 3 visits to the pie stall last time, wasnt even hungry the third time, when one of the girls asked what would I like I just said "a capri-sun please", unfortunately she did not recognise this as code for "a blowjob behind the kiosk" & just gave me some orange juice Posted Image

Thank feck it aint Lindlays caterers at Accies, a`la Livi & Dundee, now that would be clever marketing...........
