Sauchie 2 Boness 3
First half Boness had more of the play but Sauchie had the best chances and just when it looked like going in 0-0 Sauchie couldn't clear there lines and Boness scored on the stroke of half time.
Boness started the better in the second half but Sauchie came into it and just when they were on top the ref awarded Boness a penalty that there own fans said was soft . At 2-0 Sauchie dug in and scored 2 goals and Boness were reeling but just when a replay was on the cards the ref awarded a corner to Boness which they scored from and Sauchie had no time to reply. The game should never had been played on the park with the state it was in but ironically it made for a smashing cup tie with not very much good football but a hard end to end game. The result hinged on the refs 2 decisions , giving a soft penalty and a debatable corner at the end .
Well done to Boness and I hope yous go on to win it.

Livingston Utd 1 Blackburn Utd 1 (Livvy win 4-3 pens). Blackburn completely dominated second half but just couldn't get the second and lost out to the penalty lottery.

St Andrews 1 The Referee 1. The Saints were 1 up and in control when the ref gives a controversial penalty and compounds his error by sending our captain off when it was never a goalscoring opportunity.
Even then you wouldn't have known who had the 10 men as we were still the better side.

Lanark 0 Kinnoull 4
Truly awful performance by Lanark in truly awful conditions. Gale force winds and horizontal rain ( for spells)
Conditions same for both teams so no excuses.
Lanark had wind in first half but never tested their keeper at any point in the whole game.
Kinnoull scored on stroke of half time with nothing between the teams with a good strike. They then scored another three within 20 minutes.
Old Donnie the linesman must have hypothermia. I had 6 layesrs on, two hats and a hood and was still freezing
