I'd agree with Sparky.

Cracking start from Kilsyth, using what possession they had really well. Two great goals at 1-1 and then Arthurlie stepped up a pace. Daft sending off - but silly scenes after with both teams and their coaches getting involved.

Props to the Lie's band of very enthusiastic away fans. A few bottles of Mad Dog (and who knows what else) certainly kept the cold off those guys!

Poor start from the Lie but stepped it up to easily see off Kilsyth. Main talking point was Joe Bradley's sending off for a supposed head butt. I watched the entire incident and there was no movement towards the number 2's head never mind contact and there was no way the referee saw it as he was following the play and at no time asked the opinion of his assistants. Kilsyth's number 2 was their best player until that point and he should be ashamed of himself (although I doubt he will be). It just showed the lengths that Kilsyth were willing to take to get back into the match.

Conditons were poor today but was dispaointed in Kilsyth as people I have spoken to say they are a good team, if they are I fear for the rest of the league as they are one of the poorest teams I have seen this season.

Quick point on the home fans who were around me today who all they did was bitch and moan that eveyone was against them, the ref gave you most things today & still couldn't beat an "average" (that is what your supporters were saying about us, which is probably true given our season).

dont know what game u were watchin, arthurlie were very poor for a super league team, clear sending off and looks like a healthy ban for the wee boy for throwin a tantrum and attacking the referee and 2 of our players. all kilsyth 1st half arthurlie first 15 of 2nd. good luck for the rest of the season i think you'll need it.

There is a clue in my name who is my team, there as a neutral. I think big Kenny was entitled to go for the ball as the keeper spilled the ball. BTW whats the average age of the Harp back 4 nevermind the wieght :D

Agree he should of just left the field but he was so disapointed at being cheated by an opponent.

u obviously know more than the linesman an ref,who were right on the scene,u dont get sent off for nothing do u ? i was told by a fan who was over that side off the park that after he got the red ,he swung another punch towards our no2 an struck the referee,an if so he's a lucky boy the ref didn't take any more action against him ! Plus your team have the worst lookin away strip av ever saw in 30 yrs of watchin the juniorsPosted Image

According to a quote in the Record today from the Arthurlie manager the Kilsyth player grabbed their guy by the head and pulled it forward to connect with his forehead. Seems unlikely given that all the Arthurlie fans swore our guy went down with no contact, come guys at least stick to the same story.

Well we will need to wait & see what the ban is. As for as being poor, look at other recent posts on Arthurlie & u will see how poor our fans (including me) have said we have been this year. As for it being all Kilsyth 1st half your having a laugh. The 1st 20 mins you played well & deserved to be in front but after we equalised the arse fell out your team & even with 10 men we were in control.
