FOREHAD and I'll take P, B and X as well.

I know HADPBX. Took a punt at somoene for R that I think is relatively sensible. F and E are complete guesses, I'm not even sure when E played and F is a guess. Can't even guess for O.

And that was not a good start, losing the Doctor at this stage of the game is pretty catastrophic, the Mafia will be creaming themselves after that kill. Particularly when the Doctor is as skilful a player as Forehead is.

I know the answers to all of the questions except 'VL'. Can have a guess at V obviously but L is just educated guesswork.

Loved that round, great stuff! So much so that I have asked SLJ's permission to use it on Ludo's Film Quiz once I run out of my own ideas.Posted Image

Loved that round. Think Ive got 9/10. Guessed the other one. Should do a round similar to this again.
Keighan Parker- ""Out of all the places I've played, the biggest crowd to noise ratio I've experienced is at Ayr." Ryan Stevenson- "I managed to play for Ayr, the team i supported as a boy" Liam Tomsett-"The fans were amazing, to come all that way up there and give us that backing. I couldn't believe the way they were carrying on- it was crazy"

Interesting format, but I agree it gives an unfair advantage to those with short usernames. Maybe a slight tinkering like... if your username runs out of letters, you have to make it up to ten with responding letters from your favourite team or location. Then again... people could just edit them to fiddle it!

SLJ do I ignore the numerals in my name or spell them out as words?

You can spell them out if you want, but generally i'd say ignore them.

View PostSwampy, on 03 February 2012 - 14:59, said:

Totally unfair on people who have long usernames. People with short usernames can have multiple questions of their own choice while people with 10+ don't get to pick.

That is the problem with this round, one that i tried to resolve before publishing it. This is a new type of round so inevitably there will be flaws.

What if your username has the same letter more than once? Choose another question?

Correct.

I had thought of that, but like you say it's easily editable, so i'd need to take everyone's details before issuing.

Thanks for the feedback guys Posted Image

I'm pretty confident I have nine, one was a total stab in the dark.
It's getting kind of hard to believe things are going to get better. I've been drowning too long to believe that the tide is going to turn. And I've been living too hard to believe things are going to get easier now. I'm still trying to shake off the pain from the lessons I've learned. And if I see Van Helsing, I swear to the lord I will slay him. AHA HA HA. He take you from me but I swear I won't let it be so. AHA HA HA. Blood, will run done his face, when he is decapitated AH! His head on my mantle is how I will let this world know...how much I love you.
Die, die, die....I can't

Best round so far for me (mainly because I have a short username) but struggled with C,M and Y. after submitting my answers I have googled and got C & M wrong but still don't know who Y was.

First round i've tried. Some toughies. Randomly stuck Y and Z onto the end without reading the questions. Hopefully only got a couple wrong.

I must admit that I was fairly lucky with my letters. I couldn't even come up with an answer for K (despite seeing the incident vividly in my mind) but the rest were fairly straight forward so i'm pretty sure i've got a decent score.

L was a nightmare - got it wrong, but was actually quite close.

Got R wrong too. Had a choice between 2 and picked the wrong one.

I picked up H and J as my two extras. Sent over a separate post with the rest of the answers. I'm hopeful I got more than 20 for that, not that it counts for anything.

I did enjoy the round a lot, don't get me wrong. And I suppose this is just a fun quiz (i.e. no prize or anything) so it's not the end of the world. Maybe next time actually make a little Blockbusters board in Paint or something and people have to work their way across :)

Edit- decided to join in now. I reckon I've definitely got six, and two of them I'm kinda confident in. One of them is a complete guess and I couldn't get R.

I went for SMURPHAFGJ

I answered Y,O,D, A, B, C, G, H, J and K.

Not a clue for Y, although it will probably be obvious when the answers are out. I should get 9.

For Y think 'who isn't called the smiling assassin?' because even google struggled to find it.

I THINK I've worked out Y. The letters gave away quite a lot of the answers, unfortunately one of the few i had no idea about was M, which i had to answer.
