Update on Craighead, Lobmeister, big game next week v Maryhill, is the pitch knackered or does it just need some dry weather? Maybe make it tomorrow, be good to get back tae see the Gow. Cheers

The pitch is gubbed. The cooncil promised to fix it and did a cheap balls up (using the grasscurring squad rather than a drainage firm) Wet patch midway between centre circle & top goals needs real work or prolonged dry spell. Probably be lucky to get the highland games on in June at this rate.

They are working on the park now. A drainage ditch is being dug from the top corner diagonally down to the nethan

Wishaws new park isn't much better for drainage from what I hear off one of the players. I hear the committee are working on this aswel though! Fingers crossed it's ok for weekend but doubt it.
