I would try it but there's no chance I'm risking being caught shopping in Lidl.
Just take a look at some of the cars that people get out of beofre going into Lidl or Aldis. I think that you will find that their patrons have changed from when they first started in this country.
Dont get me wrong, Im not keen on their fresh meat, but for everything else they are as good as most of the bigger supermarkets. Give them a try, just take your own M&S or Sainsburys bags and no one is any the wiser.

I thought I had defeated the beast last night with no ill effects but the inferno has resurrected from the ashes to wreak havoc on my star gate.

I think we need to put together a plan so that we can all eat one of these bad boys at the same time and then note and record any after effects.

I'd love to see Lidl's sales figures for individual items to see if this thread has caused a massive spike in Alfredo's Inferno pizza sales in the Scotland region.

If it causes a "trend analyst" or some other similarly titled fuckwit a moment or two's discomfort, it's all been worth it.

Shopping at Lidl is perfectly acceptable.
Shoplifting at Lidl isn't - imagine the shame if you got caught.

I imagine it would be like the part in (500) Days Of Summer when they desperately try to work out how a Belle & Sebastian album has sold out in a tiny town in the middle of nowhere.
They'll be spluttering over their pie charts.

I imagine the inferno production line is at full capacity. Back to healthy eating this week but as there is no football on Saturday for me I'm having a few of the lads round to sample this delight.
Going to buy 4 infernos and put one top of the other to create some sort of super Satan calzone. Finish it of with cheese on top and a garlic mayo dip on the side.... Will I get done for manslaughter or is this technically murder?

Nothing wrong with shopping at Lidl, if they've got deals on you can get some terrific value for money. Same is true elsewhere, right enough, but it just seems moreso at Lidl than any other supermarket I've been to.

Had one of these a few weeks ago. I'd suggest to Lidl that they should have called it the 9" rectal wrecker - alas, that's probably already been copyrighted for an entirely different product.

Seriously people - if its doing all this stuff to you, you have some more fundamental issues at work here, or you shouldn't be eating food like that. Like Standfree, I frequently add chillies to my food, and when I have a curry, I generally eat fairly spicy ones. Hell, I even lived in asia for near on a year, and none of this stuff happened to me. Either their is a bit much exaggeration going on, or you have dietary issues.

Mild intolerance to chilis, oils etc. is hardly uncommon. It's far less likely to be a serious issue than it is simply symptomatic and minor.

Oily fish results in a fairly spectacular morning routine for me. Nothing to do with the way it's cooked or anything, I just don't seem to digest it the same way as everything else. Doesn't stop me eating it.
A nippy ring after a very spicy dish is also something that doesn't worry me.

Yep. I can't eat spicy food at all. My mouth can't handle it and my stomach certainly can't. Wouldn't go near this pizza.
On the other hand, I am very thin and yet can and do eat thousands of calories a day, without exercise and without gaining a pound. My stomach bacteria are very efficient.

I remember having fondue around a year and a half ago and having terrible "events" for the next 24 hours. So vast amounts of cheese seem not to agree with me.

Well, I just went and bought myself one and there was definitely fewer 'Inferno's' compared to other types.
There's definitely something happening! :P

When will you learn? "General Nonsense" - there's a hint in the title.
Spelling mistakes on the other hand are an entirely different matter.
