There has been much ado about a pizza on another football forum I read, the Lidl Inferno. So having nothing in my gaff for dinner tonight I had a light bulb moment on the Subway and darted in Lidl to get one. Jesus Christ it is hot and I eat and make hot as hell curries all the time. Burning mouth, runny nose and beads of sweat on upper lip. I got another pint of juice and was dipping the crust in mayo to get through it, ate a few ice cubes after too. I hope my arse is okay tomorrow.

Anyone tried it? Go get one, I dare you it only costs £1.29.

I've got another tucked away in the freezer for a rainy day.

I eat hot curries fairly often and the spiciest pizza that Dominoes did, The Meltdown Revenge, didn't faze me. Bring it.

Tempting, but I'm not sure where I can pencil in three full days spent on the pan. The ingredients for the most part aren't spicy so the chilli peppers must make up for it.

Yeah I had one of these last week, could only manage half of it before throwing in the towel. Sweat pouring outta every pore in my face!

I'm betting your other one will sit in the freezer for weeks till the memory of the ring sting you are about to experience subsides.

Amazingly I just found one in the freezer. Maw musta bought it. I just put it in the oven there so we'll see how we go.

Aye it was bloody hot. Thought it was fine after the first slice but i could hardly breathe by the end. Hottest pizza ive ever had anyway. Ive had slightly hotter curries. Will purchase again.

Might try one of these but I've been known to get bad ring sting after a large portion of veg pakora, so I'm unsure if it's wise.

On a side note, Alfredo's lasagne is excellent stuff.

This sounds immense. I was going to have a haggis pizza for tea ce soir but I might have to pop into Lidl on the way home and get one of these instead. If I do try it I shall report back with my findings.

Assumed the inferno bit was bollocks, so lobbed some chili oil on it. Unwise.

Still ate it, obviously, but my pan took a punishing the next morning.

Whilst we are (kind of) on the subject - what are peoples views on mushroom pakora? I despise the stuff, and there's nothing worse than when you order a mixed pakora w/ no mushroom and then have faith in the shop that they have listened - take a big bite into the first bit of veg pakora only to find that you are indeed eating fungus

Note to self :- Don't eat an Inferno Pizza when I'm working the next day. If I'm going to have Ring Sting I'd rather have it in the comfort of my own toilet.
